When blizzard tryd to make the game for everyone

I see, all of the people on the forum who have said they want the original launch experience crowd-wise are simply “not in their right minds”?

Pretty much. Figuratively speaking. I don’t know why the hell they think constantly crashing servers and an inability to get anything done is a good thing.

Because it hardens players and weed out the players that are used to being held by the hand. If u aren’t here to stay for the long run then why would it bother u?

The original product was great, raking in millions of subscribers, but when you can no longer grow your bottom line, year after year, companies have to figure out ways to continue to grow.

In vanilla’s case, it was accessibility. And we all know how that turned out.

So glad you completely ignored where I specifically typed “crowd-wise”. Were you even there at vanilla server startups?

“Held by the hand,” he says. This has nothing to do with the game holding your hand. Classic will NEVER hold your hand like modern does, and that’s a good thing.

No, this is about the game actually working at launch.

Yes sharding is Blizzard holding your hand.

“Game actually working” in your mind is clearly “not wanting to compete for mobs/items”.

How do you figure that, exactly?

I’ve no problem with “competing” so long as I’m not so outnumbered it’s not worth my time even trying.

Because first something is hard and with sharding it’s easy. How hard is that to grasp. U have the option to not play on launch day if it’s too much for u, this is no argument to ruin it for others.

You’re ignoring the bit about server stability. Do you really want constantly crashing servers on Day One?

So basically your attention span, or lack of, should dictate the entire server startup for potentially millions of players.

What does attention span have to do with this?

Server crashing? who came up with that ****. It’s not 2004, even pservers can handle 8k at launch.

Amazingly there are PS that do not have that issue.

That’s one of the reasons sharding exists. Get too many people in a zone on one shard, the whole damn thing comes crashing down.

Good for them. They’re not operating with what Blizzard has available.

If not your attention span, then what?

So when you’re out of arguments you go tell yourself that blizzard is worse than some Pserver at handeling a MMO.

What does MMO mean?
