2 zones. unless you are a monk. also it depends where you are. if your hearth isnt stormwind, thats 3 zones.
so 3 zones of traveling over completely irrelevant content. like ive said numerous times, I dont mind traveling. its wasted time that I dont like.
if there were something to do across these zones, it wouldnt be so bad. maybe small scaling events that add some reputation or even just gold that you could stop and do along the way.
its not an unreasonable thing to ask and all youre advocating for is “literally nothing” in these zones that you are flying over.
do you realize that?
you are telling players that you would rather just hit autorun and minimize for 2 minutes rather than have something interesting to do during your travels.
if thats what you want, you are COMPLETELY free to skip over any content that happens to lie between you and your objective. having something to do below doesnt effect you at all.
what you want is to deny players something to do for some reason that I cant even imagine.
what is it? wasted development time? How long could it possibly take to program a world quest or 2 in between the jade forest portal and the shrine assault that provides a 250 essence? stop and kill 1 or enemies along the way for some pittance of gold?
it would take almost no dev time at all, yet here you are telling people no and for what?
please explain.
