Like the Mad World title? My Violet Spellwing? The Mythic gear from Helya flawless?
This is inconsistent. While I understand not including the PvP appearances (since the artifacts are tied to honor level and the pvp gear should be placed on the PvP vendor) Blizzard has many times brought back items that were “prestigious and historic accomplishments” and were going to be “for only those players who earned them at the time”. Bring Mage Tower appearances back. You are quite literally bringing back things that were meant to be permanently removed, stated to be permanently removed, from this expansion.

So, we are gonna punish those players that are young and didn’t play in legion so they miss out on some very exclusive items that have almost no equivalent appearance in the game? You already set the prescient that people could obtain a version of the wearbear, so why are we gatekeeping the rest? The argument could have been made for the Mists of Pandaria challenge mode sets but at least those had recolors available in legion.
This is not even just about the mage tower sets. as someone said above, why do PVPers get special treatment when there are no special, unobtainable sets from M+ and Raid. Gatekeeping transmogrification is not healthy to bring back old and new players.
Very upsetting that you choose, yet again, to only listen to a small portion of the player base when most of the majority, including Youtubers, streamers, and people with those appearences, are fine letting new people have them. /rantover

Eh, Lemix will be fine.
I expect it to be just as awesome as Remop was, and Remop didn’t let us get Challenge Mode gear or Elite PvP stuff (unfortunately!)
I’ll appreciate Lemix for the things it gives us, not for the things it doesn’t.

Does it come down to community perception?
Blow for blow MoP cm sets were far easier to obtain then chosen dead and carries were fairly common.
I know vestments of the chosen dead were…well kinda seen as bland and uninteresting despite being harder to obtain. Just curious on how much the choice comes down to feeling vs difficulty.

This is the most nonsensical standards I’ve seen
Beating Trial of Valor on mythic without dying before the next raid tier wasn’t skill-intensive since that rewards coming back
But doing mage tower at the end of legion when you could outgear it and just delete challenges, how I did the druid stuff, that however is super kill intensive and should be respected
Same with pvp gear requiring 1800 which is pretty free as well, super skill intensive

Sure. I get the thought but it’s not like this was as challenging as the wildly inconsistent current version that replaced it. I wouldn’t care except the Fel Werebear just kind of sucks. Normal Werebear please and thank you - I don’t care if it’s just a marginally different color or whatever.

Well that wasn’t a time limited item meant to be preserved in a historical context for only those players who earned them at the time. You know, unlike the artifact appearances. Despite them both being limited time rewards for doing content during legion that weren’t going to be available after.

I can understand wanting to preserve the sense of achievement for those that got it in the past, but why not give recolors of these things? Leaving such a good opportunity to motivate players to come back with banger cosmetics on the table!!!
Could do like ombre color schemes like blue to purple for sparkle cats for feral mage tower appearance, for instance. As someone who got the original paladin challenge mode set, I’d LOVE to see recolors of it come back for everyone to enjoy(including me)!!!
PLEASE consider this idea, I feel like it’s a good compromise that would benefit everyone!!!
