My playstyle?
First of all, I play what’s fun. If it ain’t fun, I stop doing it. And regardless, I always play below the burnout line.
Secondly, while I don’t RP per se, I see my toon as more than a tool on the screen. I imbue her with her own story; she seeks something personally meaningful beyond the quests and conflicts.
Third, I love being a tank. I love jumping into the fray: the more mobs the merrier, the tougher the boss the better. Weapons flashing, chaos on the screen. A lively rush it is.

I don’t enjoy end game content. I have no dedicated time to do dungeons or raids or any content that can’t easily be interrupted frequently.
So, I level up alts usually. Occasionally I boost one and then gear up as much as possible just doing quests and WQ’s. Right now I’m leveling up an Arcane Mage and Outlaw Rogue. However the Rogue is getting boring (now I remember why I don’t like this spec…) So I’ll probably delete her and go for something else. I have a 120 Assass. Rogue already and I don’t like Subtility at all.
I read the quests, listen to the NPC’s and enjoy the environment.
I have several alts of different races and classes at various points, so will probably grab one of them to work on.
I enjoy switching around races, classes, specs. It keeps the game more lively and enjoyable for me.

I started in legion and did all the dungeon running I could. a lot of LFR (on my MAIN account, not this one, for my stalkers who stop by here 
), ran a lot of BGs, farmed a ton, and did some questing.
Player behavior this expansion has ruined all group content for me. I dont know if it was eventually inevitable that it would happen, or if something about this particular expansion is so horrible that people are just behaving worse, but I LOVED BGs, LFR and Dungeon running in Legion, where now I’d rather fork my own eyes out than do any of it.
So now Im mostly just farming and crafting for gold and running quests.

Each new x-pac i pull out my warrior, my first ever toon way back in vanilla…
And i level up, i read every quest, try to see every new bit of lore… then they get put back in the box until later and i bust out my two mains for the xpansion, speed level and gear and try to get ready to start hitting new content/ gold&mount farm.
Right now, depends on my toon, My warlock caps conquest every week (i was dissapointed in myself for not capping last week), while my DH spams visions and helps friends get clears/ runs mythic+ and Tyche here just kinda has fun and bounces between everything.
EDIT: Season content droughts are time for leveling my alts (i keep 1 of every class) and testing them out to see if anyone is moving into ‘main’ terrtory

I mostly play the forums. Occasionally I’ll put some time into alts on classic. I get a malefic core on my hunter and mage each week just because they are maxed currently and I don’t want them to fall behind.

I like to have two-five characters who raid. I don’t do M+ because I can’t do more than one in a sitting and PuGs are ruthless! I also like to have about 30 alts who are random levels for PvP/old content, and 2 bank alts

Hardly ever. Subbed to ffxiv and this yet it’s been 3 weeks since I’ve played either. No other reason than work and a lack of will to play (not the games fault. It’s me)

Trying to gear up more so I can move beyond 3 masking Visions, will also help soloing Mythics which will be my end game until pre-patch.
Gearing up Unholy DK for visions, also Assassination Rogue and Fury Warrior.
I also do mog and mount runs, constantly.
Also leveling AR’s, finding it hard to find the time but it’s my favorite no pressure wow activity.
I want to play 24 hours a day but work and sleep get in the way.

When a new expac comes out, I delete all but the one I am currently playing and start all over again.
Damn, that is brutal. I weirdly feel a personal connection to my character, so I can’t imagine doing this.
Is equipping 447 corruption when joining random battlegrounds considered a play style?

I don’t care much for pets, achievements, mounts, xmogs, etc. I like just making my character better. I mostly do current PvE content with the occasional PvP. I also like professions and making a modest amount of gold on the AH. I had only played Warlock and Mage at max level since Vanilla but this tier decided to gear up a Resto Shaman as well and it’s been a nice change of pace.
