What's your oldest macro?

Mine would either have to be the vash core macro,

/use Tainted Core
/run f=SendChatMessage w="WHISPER"c="Tainted Core"t="target"u=UnitName(t)if IsItemInRange(c,t)==1 then f("You have the "..c,w,nil,u)f(u.." has "..c,"RAID")else f("Can't throw core at you. Get close!",w,nil,u)Minimap:PingLocation(0,0)end

Or one that makes it so you can pretend a GM said something to you.

Thinking its the core one.

I have a macro specifically to invite one of my best friendā€™s characters.

ā€¦ We used to play a ā€˜gameā€™ in which one of us would just repeatedly decline each otherā€™s invite. Eventually, it sort of became an arms race of how efficiently we could utterly spam the otherā€™s screen with invite notifications.

Is it stupid? Yes. Was it hilarious? ā€¦ Yes.

I have a macro thats

/s ā€œMay the fleas of one thousand camels infest your loinsā€.

I used it back when mining nodes werent multi-tap and I got beat out.

Hmm I think itā€™s this one:

/cast Avenging Wrath
/cast Zealotry

I guess it was an old paladin cd macro I had. I think Zealotry was removed in MoP so the macro dates back to Cataclysm then.

Had to look at my macros. The oldest comes all the way back from vanilla and was a bit of a joke with my guild back then. Someone would emote slapping me or something for a smartass comment, and Iā€™d reply with: Evades (Glitched since 1.7!)

Think my oldest is one for Hunterā€™s snake trap back during WotLK.

Not on to check exactly but it was something like,

/cast Snake Trap
/yell Snakes? SNAAAAKES. AHHHHHHH

Was something silly and I wasnā€™t good at macros(still arenā€™t). Loved Snake Trap so much though. lol.

I still have the macros for Simon Says in Blades Edge Mountains. Canā€™t copy/paste them atm because Iā€™m at work.

Iā€™ve played since vanilla and Iā€™m ashamed to say Iā€™ve never made or used a macro. Iā€™m not even sure what Iā€™d use one for. :disappointed_relieved:

My oldest macro is the one that lets you spam /chicken in order to get one of the chickens in Westfall to lay an egg. Made it in vanilla.

Yea, I canā€™t say what my oldest one is, but I have one from Cata for use on Deathwings back. Iā€™m sure I have something in there older and even more obsolete.

My oldest probably dates back to the WOLK days. When I first started farming for the TLPD. I wanted a way to quickly tap him so it was something like this.

/tar Time-Lost
/tar Aeonaxx
/tar ect
/use (Instant range ability here)

I would frequently just add NPCs to that list as I needed to. Im sure some of my older toons still have stuff like Time-Lost and Aeonaxx in the list even though I got their mounts some time ago.

Its basic but so useful when on a flying mount in a flying zone.
