ICC drakes. Got them just before DF dropped and basically relegated them to the background until the end and I’ve been making up for lost time.
i think like with others, favorite mounts differ with different toons.
i am digging the siesbarg mount. i love his growls. I sort of like that stupid bug mount from the delves: ivory goliathus.
i will offer my own take on useful mount, though.
I love using the Heart of the Aspect mount as a tank in “open world” dungeons, like in dawnbreaker. even though I mark myself with a square, you cannot miss the big, beautiful glowing mount.

I have four of each so Paladin class hall horse and Crow/Deer. My SP extends her shadow form to her mounts so I use the Cata drakes, very nice effects, and they’re majestic !
GMOD. It’s even on theme for the season with its lil Christmas lights.
Warlords Deathwheel. It’s becomes more rare as time goes on… Invincible is my fav flying, but then I main a DK.

I used to always use my corrupted raven because it had the green particle effects but they’re massively toned downed when skyriding and the turning animations are busted on it, makes me sad
Across all my characters the Yak wins. Bags full of junk? Yak. Repair after wipes? Yak. Mog new gear? Yak.

It depends on the character, I really like my leyfeather hippogryph though. I’ve also used Ashes of Al’ar on a lot of characters since getting it, gives me a reason to come up with fiery transmogs. My frost mage was using the Compass Rose for a while but that got replaced by the Coldflame Tempest.
If I have to use a ground mount I will pull out my Brilliant Direbeak or one of the other falcosaurs depending on that character’s mog, or perhaps one of those big Gorm mounts
Two of mine is the Uncorrupted Voidwing and the Highland Drake. I like the Highland Drake as I can make it almost anyway I want and only missing one PvE manuscript. I like my Uncorrupted Voidwing as I loved Vexiona’s model and love that I have a mount version of it. Just wish it had a more traditional drake saddle.
This one will be at the very top once I can finally beat the RNG wall that’s preventing me in getting it. Yay to 4k+ kills and about 30 or so chest and nothing so far.
Anurelos - it is my favourite looking mount. Plus it allows ride along with a cute bird alongside it.
Also it is small enough that it doesn’t feel awkward to use as a ground mount.
So I use it for flying and walking.
I haven’t used any other mount since I got it.

Every character has their own personal mount.
Since Phlynch is my most used character, his Raven and Rat are my most used mounts.
Since I’ve been maining a druid, I just don’t use or collect mounts like I used to. Honestly, the mount I return to most often on alts is the little mouse we got for Chinese New Year that one time. He is SO CUTE, and every Gnome character I ever made uses it as their main mount.
I wish it were one of the more difficult-to-obtain mounts that I liked best, but nope. It’s the rat.
The other mounts I use most often are the ottuks because for non-druids, they allow fast swimming AND fast movement on the ground without having to swap out.
But honestly, I’m a druid like 95% of my time spent ingame, and I don’t use mounts.
