Because you everyone loses half of their gold, it would be the equivalent of a tax, just saying. Many players have worked to get that gold, just like in real life they work to earn their money, and then it’s taken away for reasons. What’s wrong with taking half of everyone’s money in the real world to reduce the inflation ? It would be good to pay less for goods, and services too by reducing the dollars in circulation,
