What's with the constant social contract spam?

I saw it for the first time in a long time on patch day thought it was because of that. People really should read it though and not just click past it.

normally they do that even if they change a word or move punctuation to cover their bottoms. It’s not you, it’s them.

Any time they do changes to it, you have to re acknowledge that you have read it and understand it. Its a legal binding contract between you and them basically saying that if you break those rules and they punish you for it. You can not scream foul that they didn’t tell you the rules to start with.

Social Contract?

wth game am I playing?

Some people sadly need to be reminded not to be disrespectful or a jerk to other people.

The social contract is basically be a decent human being and don’t be a jerk.

There’s a revelation I’ve had in my time here, that it’s no longer just myself, but it’s now every single soul I encounter that seems to believe they are the center of God’s universe,

Therefore we need a constant reminder to actually think about possibly treating other people with dignity and respect and forgetting about Number 1 for a day or two when we log in.

The social contract updates don’t happen often at all. I don’t know how you can call it spam.

Just click the prompt and go on with your day.

It’s been a while since I played, but if i remember right, lost ark had a play nice thing you had to click every time you logged in and I think new world had a reminder at the log in screen as well. If anything, WoW should be having it show up more if not at every log in.

But here’s the major question…

Did you forget to buy oatmeal at the store?
