Again; stop with the dumbass arguments. There is no part of early access that is good for the consumer - those who pay or those who don’t. If there was some benefit that you wouldn’t otherwise get, or if the money went back into making the game better, sure. But it doesn’t, and you don’t. You pay more, and you get nothing in return.

I would be equally happily questing, having paid $40 less, with the entirety of my guild, if Blizzard wasn’t employing exploitative business practices. What’s best for the game and the consumer is, almost definitionally, worse for shareholders.

You are not being treated unfairly, nor is there any advantage for blizz to let people pay to play early, other than money, which as a business, is why they exist.
And the fact that you believe that is why businesses get away with exploiting consumers to make short-term profit.
There are plenty of businesses that exist to make good products, and as a result, make money. The idea that fiduciary responsibility to shareholders precludes making a good product being the primary driver of a business is simply wrong; first and foremost, because it entirely frontloads the profit at the expensive of long-term growth.
Early access in the context of entirely non-scarce goods and services is essentially the definition of an exploitative business practice. The more you pretend otherwise, the more idiotic you appear to be.
Correction, pay more to play the game on release. This isn’t early access, it’s delayed access for everyone except people who paid a premium.

All of this is worse than what we had. You used to buy things and own them. Now you can’t even subscribe for everything you have to pay in top of it. The fomo brainwashing of the world by the rich is ridiculous. It’s so strong that people who buy into it defend the people charging more for nothing. They delay the launch by a week and charge you for early access…and you defend them.
We live in a ‘victim’ society. No one is happy ever, regardless if they agreed to it. Just my opinion. In real life this is a problem but it is spilling over to the ‘game fantasy’ world sadly.
No beta testing. I’m in early access and it is smooth as silk. No bugs, no lag and people are happy ingame.

S4 rewards don’t end until the 26th.

Now this one is a head scratcher. Being able to play 4 days earlier isn’t good for the consumer? In a lot of cases, people bought epic and early access wasn’t even an after thought.

Spoilers. Dragonflight epic was the same exact price and you didn’t get early access.
So if we use that as a reference point, you just gained early access for literally nothing extra.
What’s hilarious about these tantrums is you can’t even do end game stuff. Everything is locked.
You can quest. You can farm. You quite literally can’t get a step on anyone that starts tuesday other than a handful of unimportant things.
So this whole thing about early access exploiting players is ridiculous. It’s essentially 4 extra days to level.

I’m pretty good paying the $20 for a month and the early access, the problem is I don’t want mounts and pets. I don’t care about them, and I have never paid USD for mounts or pets. Instead of the Heroic and Epic edition, give me the Mid Edition that includes the time and no rewards.
I do buy game time. I already buy game time regularly. But I won’t buy mounts to unlock more game time purchasing opportunities.
