Brah if 30 bucks breaks you, you should not be playing wow. It’s literally less than I spend on coffee a week.
You are completely clueless, sadly Im too broke to buy you one.
If you are that broke, you should be focused on your life and not a video game. I am not being cruel, just honest
You are more Adult than some of the Adults on here. RL is RL live real and play when ya can I always say.
bwhahhah
Neither you nor I know what anyone has in the bank. meaningless drivel mostly like the clue I wouldn’t buy for you.
I don’t need you to buy me anything. if you are crying over 20-30 bucks you should not be subbed. You should be focused on your life.
the issue was never about the money. Here’s your clue, I live comfortably and can easily have afforded the paywall. I have integrity and refused.
You are throwing up a ridiculous moral Wal for what? It’s literally ridiculous. If you look at what they gave out in epic edition is well worth it. You are literally crying for sake of crying. It’s really not an issue. You are whining and crying over what exactly? 100% you are still subbed and you will play tww. In two weeks there will be virtually no difference between those of us who paid for epic edition and those who did not. You are literally crying over something so trivial it’s ridiculous
Whatever floats your boat bro, I see the next step is paying for the drop rate of old mounts to be raised to 100%. You know invincible, mim’s head and so on. No real effect on anyone’s gameplay as they are just old mounts. I want to make sure that we keep everyone on the same footing. You have your issues I have mine. Pay to win will be called out even if it is only by a tiny bit. Calling people poor or unable to manage their money is a poor argument and just extended the thread.
I’m learning from all this that people just really, really like degrading others when they feel justified in doing so.
Literally adding nothing to the conversation whatsoever, yet they feel the need to chime in with their ignorant, baseless, totally-lacking-in-context judgments.
I’m tired and I just want to play WoW.
Me too, sadly checking out some of the new MMO’s out there. I have prebought the base edition and just added 30 days via gold so I will at least see if the game is good or not. I am also quite capable of making my mind up about what I like and work hard to avoid the I have so much invested that I cannot walk away from a bad deal.
Slippery slop is the worst of the slops.
People saying it’s just because you’re “poor”, are missing the point. Don’t mistake one’s finances for their principles.
They did early access during the weekend, knowing very well that is the best time most people would have time to play the expansion launch. It likely caused many people to buy the Epic edition for fear of missing out or simply not having time to enjoy the launch after the weekend. It was downright scummy in them to do this.
Early access was paywalled behind the most expensive version of the game. They know everyone wants to be part of the “first day” of a new WoW expansion, but now what is really the first day when it hasn’t even launched yet for people outside of the Epic edition? It completely ruined the hype of the new expansion for the sake of selling more Epic editions.
This could be the start of a terrible trend for future WoW expansions. What if next time they go with 1 week early access? Paywalling exclusive entry into the same expansion everyone paid for but simply didn’t buy the most expensive version of it is a terrible idea for an MMO and especially an MMO that requires you to buy its expansions, pay a monthly fee and has a massive in game shop.
This should not become the norm for WoW or any game.
It’s not about whether you can afford it; it’s about what’s fair for the community. World of Warcraft has always been about everyone enjoying the same experience together, not creating divides based on who can pay more. Just because some people can drop extra cash doesn’t mean it’s right to lock content behind a paywall. It’s about keeping the game fun and fair for everyone, regardless of their wallet size.
it divided the populace. i have friends i intended to game with… they are early access… some of them are not… i am of the not.
the disgusting practice has ruined the guild group experiencing a new thing all at once.
this early access ( official launch ) has ruined the DF experience. locking comp stomp and LFR.
now those who wish to experience it for the first time are getting spoiled to death if they even glance at there main youtube feed or enters trade chat…
Wrong. Your argument has a weakness and that is that the game is $90 or nothing.
The difference between whatever version you would pay and the epic version is where you need to lead your argument.
So maybe $40.
I get some of our fellow players in EU come from poorer countries and $40 is like a week wages or something but in US/CA/AU/NZ…you could have got a shift a McD’s and made that months ago.
Maybe don’t whine about it then.
I have it and I still don’t think it should be a thing. It’s greedy af.
IDK… but it seems that Blizzard does bad management to make this kind of predatory purchase.
even before this kind of Early Access, their Early Access was not interesting or worth it as a Collector’s edition.
Now with the problem of the servers of other versions of WoW like Classic, and Cataclysm, it SEPARATED EVEN MORE making it unfair and more lonely for players who did not buy, or bought Early Access.
Blizzard is an MMO, and as an MMO there are people who have to be united in the video game, and these measures only separate more.
Which was not acceptable at the beginning of Dragonflight, which I disliked because it had to be the opposite.
IDK… But Blizzard is doing badly to do Early Access or it is not convenient for what is the nature of the MMO World of Warcraft.
