What's up with wow players?

Ever since the WA change and people freaking out over it, I’ve noticed how hateful and miserable some wow players are, on other social medias I saw people attacking someones opinion with demands of glad or keystone master.

Why are some wow players miserable people? lol

Why are you bothering about it. Why are you making it bother you?

I for one, cannot stand change to begin with. I like things the way they are, until I want to change it.

For another, we have been lied to. Everything from them wanting to do it in a way that is not jarring, and still leaves wiggle room for players, to wanting to work with the Authors…and now we find out that entire Authors are just going to call it quits.

Then you add in the Class changes.

Then the Pet battle change. Which was communicated in yet another random creator interview instead of the Alpha notes.

Why is anyone miserable? Dissatisfaction. People who lack self worth and respect, who are insecure, by default, are dissatisfied with everything, and in their misery they seek out anything to make them feel better, including, in the worst way possible…company and companionship in their abject misery.

This is why I post on alts and hide profile. Any comment you make will immediately be personally attacked because you only got x achievement on y date therefore anything you think is somehow invalid

People have to suddenly go out of their way to act better than others, instead of understanding all of the implications of WAs shutting its doors. Like accessibility options the base game doesn’t have and a lot of QoL UI options that even addons don’t have.

I liked Chainela’s poem:

I’m growing very weary of being shown the light,
By people who don’t do what I do,
But who know I’m not doing it right.

There are some players who only plays one class and if their class gets nuked, that pretty much ruined WoW for them. Which why they are so angry and miserable.

Blizzard almost hit 3 strikes for me.
Hunter ( MM/ BM ) - non playable.
Fire mage - non playable.
Element Shaman - playable.

The new DH spec is starting to look good.
All 3 DKs specs are very good.

And what’s with tree roots? How can a tree root just mess up a sidewalk or a foundation? Huh? What’s up with that?

it shines a light on how much they relied on a addon to be able to play. its the same pathetic whining children do when they have to actually try. They will still be able to blame blizzard for their own personal shortcomings when blizzard rolls out their version of WA.

You’ll find bliss by avoiding social media.

I’m wondering how you find this to be funny, considering the little “lol” you decided to input at the very end of your OP.

I’m really, REALLY hoping you’re not one of the uninformed dribble that likes to poke fun at players and their needs.

Bliz lied and said they would do this slowly, now saying they are doing it all at once, coupled with their history of poor implementations, and the radical dumbing down of every class understandably makes the existing player base upset. Blizzard is doing everything they can to make their primary player base unhappy in the hopes of attracting (nonexistent) new players. It’s insulting

I would hate to see what the Elites requirements for joining a guild now that add ons might not be a thing. lol

Because their identity online is completely wrapped around the avatar of this perceived importance and superiority.

If they cannot parse and shove it in your face or possess some sort of leg up on their fellow players, they are not happy. The weak aura discussion gets to the root of this.

Instead of strategically calling for certain things to be included in the UI, they rather threaten blizzard, malign their fellow players and in typical fashion call everyone else " bad" Their whole mentality is based around this superiority complex, and they are unhealthy for the game as a whole.

What going to be funny that players will poke at others for using add ons as a crutch because they can’t play WoW. Like the training wheels are finally coming off.

They are doing it slowly, how much hand holding do you need? Do they need a decade long plan for you to feel ok about this direction? LOL A new expansion is the perfect time to do this.

I guess some people have very little going on and any change to their environment sends them over the edge.

And to be fair, the fanbase has always been doom and gloom since the very beginning.

I’m not freaking out. I’m honestly glad blizzard is doing something about these problematic addons.

So true, many other players live in this ignorant bliss for other games that are frankly not very good games.

Meanwhile you get such a dynamic game like WOW and people are acting like weird zealots and threatening blizzard etc. ILL CANCEL MY ACCOUNT IF THIS GOES LIVE.

It’s not “training wheels” to begin with. It’s a sophisticated methodology to ease themselves from Blizzard’s crap UI system.
