It’s not. The run from Darnassus → Ironforge is far worse.
At least the Badlands run is level appropriate. The Alliance run you have to get chased by ?? Mobs.

actually fun fact here, the /stuck feature puts you into westfall, so as a NELF, you dont need to do the run at all lol.
So, I travel to Wetlands, as a Nelf only, /stuck, and I’ll be Westfall? See, I thought /stuck puts you to where your Hearth is

if you blow your hearth first it puts you in wesfall.
Nelf only, though. 'Cause the Humans, Dwarves and Gnomes still have to do the run ![]()
oh yea, totally. Just thought it was an interesting thing with how nelfs can avoid the run lol.
Well, this is a neat trick for the OP, considering they think Alliance is “hard mode” ![]()
hmm as someone who has played most of vanilla as horde (my first 60 was a Nelf rogue tho, a month after I started on horde and played it the rest of the time), and most of classic as alliance. They both have pro’s and con’s, but I sure would not call one “easy mode” or “hard mode” lol.
Getting attuned for onyxia is significantly harder on the horde however it’s still not “hard”. The alliance have so many advantages over horde I’m not exactly sure what your talking about with us having it “easier”. Either way even with or without advantages nothing in classic is really all that difficult. In fact nothing really gets remotely difficult till Aq40 and Naxx.
That’s not true. Loot distribution literally breaks guilds.
That doesn’t make it…hard. That just gamers being gamers.
Troll status confirmed.
I don’t know the Alliance side, but on Horde, what you do is this:
Out of all of that, finding Rexxar is the worst part. Because he patrols around Desolace with his bear, so you can’t be certain where he’ll spawn.
lmfao attunement is way easier on alli. what r u smoking
he is in a few different zones. Seen him in Feralas as well. Okay, maybe 2 zones, not sure if there’s a 3rd.
I take the one death shortcuts. You can do the mountain hop and jump to wetlands or quick swim from harbor drown and rez in Dun Morogh. Either way it’s not even 10 minutes. ![]()
I guess we’re finding little secrets that Alliance can do, that Horde can’t

Installing Burning Crusade would give Alliance a FP at the Rebel Camp and that would be good enough for me. Otherwise we have two options, Booty Bay or Darkshire. Both require a long run just to get to where you were questing.
Horde gets an intercontinental FP right in the middle.
Horde have better flight paths, city locations, and pvp racials, being close to BRM is about all allies have. I mean look at it this way, you have a flight path in the middle of STV that also has a blimp to your major city, allies have to fly into duskwood, lol.
Oh you poor thing… having to fly to the next closest zone that is all of 10s from the zone…
Because without Grom Horde would have to use Booty Bay as the only way to get to STV and the southern eastern continent… aka endgame.
P.s. Horde runs to BRM from Badlands, just like your STV run… but ours is at max level.
Look at feralas, you have a town in the middle of the road that allies have to run around, then in the steppes you have a FP right next to the GY, and clsoer to BRM, you have a flight path to the bad lands and swamp of sorrows, allies have none.
Because Alliance don’t have a city in the middle of the road that Horde has to run around in Silverpine.
Oh no… how ever will you get to ST the one time you run it… it isn’t like Alliance have access to these zones from controlled zones. The unflagged ride through lowbie lands must be killer. It isn’t like horde has to run around a city in the middle of the road in Alliance territory… just to get to a contested zone.
Anymore useless crying you want to do? As bad as you think you have it… horde has to do the same at higher levels. When people are more willing to gank you. When people can easily report seeing horde with a major city barely a zone away.
Try the Badlands run some time as horde. Either way you go you will be put in combat with Alliance NPCs setting off the global “x is under attack”.
True but the boat is in Ratchet, a quick flight from TB or Org. It does suck as Alliance to not have the FP at Rebels Camp.
