Its really cool when it looks like the carpet is moving but its just a scorpion that blends in ![]()
you stop that. that’s not a thing that happens
right?
what about tarantulas ![]()
In our old home, we had semi long, brownish carpet. I remember thinking the carpet was blowing or something one night. I got closer and it was a scorpion. Always wore shoes in the house after that. I preferred when they were on the wood floor so I could see them easier and trap them.
Haven’t seen one in this house we live in now, yet… knock on wood
I don’t really wanna talk about the “scariest” moment I’ve had in wow. Some real freaks out there.
Was in Duskwood and found a path which seemed to go into a central area I’d never been in before. On autorun and crested the top looking into an alcove when the dogs distracted me for a moment. When I looked back, I found myself in a dead run towards a huge spectral dragon named Taerar. Needed to change my armor after that one.
what about if you have a computer with a camera and someone from Blizzard watches you play??? if that happened that would be scary
First All Hallows Eve in WoW, was on the Azuremyst isles starting a Draenei male PC, and The Headless Horseman starts his cross-Azeroth shouting about everything burning…

That wouldn’t scare me. It happens all the time though. I’d wave and say glad you’re a fan.
I think i’ve only had one person recognize me from here out in game. Admittedly I don’t play Pinar very much lately so thats not very surprising.
As for the spoopiest thing i’ve ever seen? Probably some guy going in trade chat trying to recruit people to whisper someone stuff like commit toaster bath. I can’t remember if I ended up reporting it as it came as quite a shock but I hope I did.
That is Stitches, not Patchwerk.
More spooky.
Being told I would die while watching little kids stand in formation in a small room.
WoW has never actually scared me. It has some conceptually terrifying things, sure, but those things tended to be better handled in the fictional works whence they were aped.
ARK: Survival Evolved, though? First Leedsichthis encounter, on a raft my friend was piloting. I looked back, saw a huge rock that wasn’t there before. Then it started getting bigger, and closer. Turned around pale as a ghost and told my buddy as calm as I could muster to make for the shore.
The craft shook like a storm-stuck leaf. From the brine behind rose a calamitous bellow, made all the worse as I couldn’t bear to turn around and dispel the phantasms of antediluvian monstrosity then drowning my higher thought processes. Inconsolable, primal fear cast my composure into our raft’s foamy wake, and for the rough minute it took for us to attain the relative safety of the shore I screamed as if I were in true mortal peril.
the second boss in Halls of Atonement jump scared me the first time i did it ![]()
I was terrified back in the day. Maybe it was a combination of it being late + not knowing he existed, but when I spun my camera and saw him chasing me, I screeched.
Oh trust us, it’s a very REAL thing. A lot of Arizona homes have beige or tan carpeting to match the Sedona look and they blend in quite well.
I hate all insects/arachnids
In the 14 years we have been here I haven’t seen one single Tarantula. Honestly they don’t freak me out as much as scorpions.
I was moving out the trash cans one day and underneath one of them was not one but two scorpions……just sitting there staring at each other.
It wasn’t until I squashed them before I realized one was a female with quite a large supply of unhatched eggs on her back.
If I could post a picture here, I would.
please no scorpion pics
I beg of you
On the 4th of July some rando /whispered me: "Happy Red, White and Goo Day! "
