They’re about to have more competition once mages can port
Is that on ally only?? Lmfao that’s amazing if not.
I’m guessing the gold is the reason.
Death run? Theres a boat from menethil in wetlands to Darkshore and catch another boat to Darnassus from there. Wetlands is easy af for alliance. Annoying that darnassus has always been a boat ride though, cant fly directly too it.
I know of this path because im horde and my guild camps that boat for PvP.
100g an hour. (not day) They are gold farmers, this is literally their job then they transfer that gold into real-money trading.
On Wild Growth my guild decided to try and break down the bots selling kargath summons by doing a guild event for 2 days with two locks one in kargath and one in hillsbrad farming shards. When the kargath lock ran out of shards they would summon each other (we had two helpers on each location). We gave out over 1100 free summons to kargath for people to get their horde flight path hub. The RMT (assumed) summon bots mass reported our advertisements repeatedly to try and get us banned but no bans or mutes just flagged warnings.
Aye, they also do this if you kill their bots. They will mass report you. It’s a pretty sketch system.
done with their main and farming gold for phase 2. some of us don’t care to level or play alts so we do other activities like farm gold. for example in retail i have alts yes but they are there mainly when im bored of my main but main purpose is to farm xmog/mounts and thats about it. i don’t play them otherwise and level them when im super bored.
I had 3 accounts for a month and did this to make an absolutely monstrous amount of gold (900g in one week), while I worked I would advertise and had auto invite and summon macros. Had a macro on my razor mouse to advertise every so often and I’d just click the summon on 3 windows, get the gold and go back to working. It was really annoying to get my job done that week, but I made a ton of money without having to resort to or risk RMTing.
I assume there’s some others like this that wanted a gold advantage for future phases risk-free.
I also think there are probably people from less privileged countries doing this as an actual way to earn money via RMT.
Always need a gold sink
That’s just good for one city though, right? Unless you know two other people that wouldn’t mind hanging out with you in a city. I guess they could park alts there and you could probably be a fun person to hang out with, but I dunno.
I just assumed you’d need 3 accounts per summoning spot/location/zone/kerfluffle. 1 for the Warlock and two for the clickies. Help my small brain understand.
Yes. Running through Wetlands may cause:
- Meetings with angry crocodiles
- Meetings with angry Horde
- Character Death from either.
- Exhaustion from corpse running
Do not make a Wetlands if you are allergic to wet and/or lands. If you are pregnant or nursing, ask your doctor if making a run through Wetlands is right for you.
The devs are sorry that they didn’t make the game exactly as you want it to be. Get a job as a consultant to wow if you can.
i have a summoing pod at the corner of westfall , darkshire, and elwynn that i do from time to time.
makes decent money and saves people much traveling.
i dont see a problem with it honestly.
The original iteration of dual spec cost 1000g, but that was in wrath, where 1000g wasn’t THAT much. That being said, who knows what they might set the price at.
They might not even set a price, they might just make it a discovery that requires some exploration and time spent in game.
Fact is, nobody knows what they’re gonna do.
