Killing Varian. I despise Anduin, he’s everything wrong with the modern Alliance. Whiney, entitled little brat who is written like a sheltered rich kid who doesn’t understand how the world works.
Making me the champion and savior of wow. It felt like a much larger would before I was hero of the universe.
I’ll never forgive them for ruining the game that I love, and listening to a whiny player base that doesn’t actually know what it wants.
I agree, with killing voljin. I’ve always been a fan of trolls, and to have them go from looked down on, to having one of their own be war chief!?! Such a baller moment. And then the dies after one exp… I do feel like they gave him some good love in SL burying him in the tomb of kings. And even though I don’t like the ultimate handling of Sylvanis - Undead getting a spotlight for a moment was cool.
Yes, i am under the assumption that was nothing more then a glorified PR stunt
Genocide and ethno-fascism is neither strong nor honorable. I’m glad Garrosh is gone, and I wish it had been a longer, less pleasant experience for him.
Sorry there are so many players who failed to mature along with the game.
Classic is right there
Getting rid of Torghast
I don’t hate them for this. But yes that is one content that we could have had. M
I think peopel just did not do it. As we got overloaded with so much other stuff.
Delves is good replacement but literally no mogs.
Making the game M+ or die.
my god, keep those trashtalk in twitter, he was not supposed to feel good for for alliance players and thats the point
“im so mature playing a kids game” yeah, right
making the epic class mount quest chains obsolete and having the mounts be vendor fodder for 40g is still a thorn in my backside even all these years later, still makes me irrationally annoyed even now
Removing defense rating. Such a lame move removing such a simple stat.
He felt awful for every non-orcish race in the Horde as well. Did you play Mists of Pandaria? Garrosh was nothing but a villain the moment he seized power, and he was put down like a villain, and I’m quite happy to be rid of him.
The Horde never needed a strong leader, they always needed a smart one. By virtue of seeing the flaws of the Orcish horde and being forced to ally with trolls, tauren, human, and night elf to help his Horde survive, Thrall understood the need for unity in a way Garrosh never did. Garrosh would’ve been a good leader if the Horde was made of orcs, but it isn’t. He was always abrasive, rash, and didn’t understand that he wasn’t just leading Orcs, but trolls, tauren, forsaken, blood elves, and goblins. He showed signs of being a raging orc supremacist since the very beginning of his actual characterization in Cataclysm lol
Strength was never one of the core values of the Horde, resilience was. Again, you’re confusing an Orcish horde for The Horde.
im sure some elves and undeads didn’t like him, and were the ones cheering for sylvanus, so they matter little
He seized power in cataclysm did you play it? he was fine there, and was fine in the start of MOP until Blizz decided to turn him comic evil.
Horde needed a strong leader due to the alliance declaring war and invading the barrens and durotar
Its not his fault that the rest of the leaders were playing dumb, pretending there was not an invasion going on, like the dimwit Baine who exiled his people because they wanted to fight back the alliance who was you know, killing then and their families
Are you trying to gaslight the dude? Strength and honor is literally a saying everyone in the horde use to say, Thrall included
Thrall, the Horde’s warchief, is a living symbol of nobility, strength, and unwavering courage.
This is the stage we are in the wow fanbase, elf and alliance players trying to lecture horde people what the horde is about
And people say there isn’t anything wrong with the lore
We’re all reading the same quest text, are we not? You don’t get some special understanding because you decided to main red instead of blue lol
There was no invasion until Garrosh came to power. The Alliance started pushing into Horde territory in Cataclysm particularly because Garrosh had begun aggressing first in Ashenvale. Even back in CATACLYSM he perpetuated the war while we were focused on the Lich King, ordering his troops to attack the alliance during a joint effort against the Scourge. The Alliance started moving into Horde territory because Garrosh was shown to be abrasive, aggressive, and dangerous since his very introduction. And predictably, he tried to expand the borders of the Horde, screwing over anyone else that happened to share the continent.
You either misunderstand him or don’t care that he’s an awful leader and person lol
edit: Just saw this lmao, I guess it’s the former
If you play both factions and do all the quests maybe, but it takes something else to proper understand it
Saying the horde was never about strength shows you didnt do the same quests, at all
Lieterally false, The alliance start attacking the horde even before knowing Garrosh came to be warchief
The Goblin starting quest(did you do those?) shows how the alliance attacked the horde and captured Thrall thinking he was still warchief and planed to parade him in stormwind like an animal.
The qesting zone i barrens/durotar ultimately leads you to Kilrok, an NPC that show how the alliance attacked the horde BEFORE the cataclysm:
Kilrok, how did we lose Honor’s Stand?
It was a clever ruse, . Alliance forces streamed out of Northwatch and marched up the gold road, besieging Crossroads as dusk fell. Then, in the heart of the night, they force-marched southward, leaving their campfires burning behind.
Our meager forces at Honor’s Stand were caught unawares as the Alliance poured through the pass at dawn’s first light. Many of our bravest warriors fell before their blades.Gossip This was before the Cataclysm?
Yes. We regrouped east of the pass and prepared a counter-attack, but the next day, the skies reddened and the land was cleaved in two

Only after Garrosh invaded Ashenvale due to the alliance attacks and the refusal of the night elves to revive the trade they had because the twilight hammer attack and they wanted to blame on the horde.
so yeah, you can do the same quest but apparently can’t read or understand then
ruining the games social aspect by introducing the new garbage social contract
now the chat feels so dead game feels dead.
so unforch
In Warcraft 2: Tides of Darkness, Anduin Lothar was ambushed by the Horde when he attempted to parlay with Orgrim Doomhammer to bring an end to the war the Horde was losing badly.
Blizzard will tell you that didn’t happen. But it did. I played that game and the Human Campaign is canon.
