Tonight I got Sha of Anger’s mount. 705th attempt. I can’t believe it. I screamed. This is still a mount so rare only 1% of players have it even 4 expansions later.
Still buzzing with excitement, I logged over to my mage and spawned in front of Rukhmar. I got the Solar Spirehawk, 336th attempt. I screamed again, but with less volume. Quickly, I’m stunned.
Last week, I got Oondasta on my 476th attempt. A week prior, I got the Felblaze Infernal, Glorious Felcrusher, and Kor’kron Juggernaut from Garrosh in one night. That isn’t all. In September, I also got Corpse Eater, the Blessed Felcrusher, and the Brewfest Ram. That’s 9 rare mounts in a month’s time? Were droprates increased?
My mount farming motto has always been: “World boss mounts are a myth.” Within 2 weeks, I’ve gone from 0/5 to 3/5. Rukhmar actually felt cheapened tonight because I got Sha an hour prior. That’s not a complaint because that’s the best problem to have in this game, I’m just seriously wondering if something was changed for Shadowlands hype, because this is getting a bit absurd and less exciting.
Grats! That’s some awesome luck, but it sounds like it wasn’t without the prior leg work!
People who want to constantly be demoralised lol.
I couldn’t imagine going back and waiting for a spawn for 15+ minutes after my 500th attempt of not getting it. I’d rather pretend that the chance is much better than I think and I’ve just been unlucky so far lol.
I gave up on those damn panda world mounts long ago. I can’t even get a single warbringer to drop one and I’ve killed so many I can boost any toon to exalted rep from neutral.
I had that reaction when I was hatching Combee in Pokemon Moon. I ended up with a shiny female at random and not using the masuda method. I wasn’t even trying for a shiny. I was IV breeding
Only the females evolve and they’re rare. They’re roughly 88ish percent male. And shinies with no charms or the masuda method is around 1 in 4096
I think I just stared at it for a good five minutes after it hatched
I’ve got Sha’s, no luck on the others though. But I’ve given up on Oondasta. May just be bad luck but every time I’ve went, have always been half a dozen hunters wanting to tame and very few folks trying to kill it. So i just stopped bothering.
