There’s your answer. If you were a DPS or tank you would be missing every hit.
I’m not surprised. People will always set imposed limitations. Whether it’s gearscore, or AOTC, or raider io or now a minimum level.
The same people who played by these limitations are now playing classic. Why do people expect the community to suddenly be different?
If you don’t like it just form your own group. I for one don’t like dragging under leveled people through dungeons.
True. I was level 25 when I was trying to join an SM group and the LFG leader told me that I was too low. I replied to him that in Beta, the streamers were doing SM at level 20… the first cap level in Beta. Level 20 may be too much too low but I was level 25. Arguably I can do whatever streamers can do skillwise… but I was applying to be invited at level 25.
In Beta, my guild did SM at around level 25. We were careful in each pull… CC here and there. But when we reach level 30, we freaking speedrun the whole Cathedral… chainpull here and there without them waiting for me to drink for mana.
In Live, I am on a guild somewhat not as veteran as me. One of my guildmates showing off the gear he got from SM. He got a level 30 gear and he’s level 32. I pointed out in guild chat this… that people are overleveling SM. My guildmate who went to that SM run just defended that people are careful becoz not all of them in PuGs are not as good like the Beta streamers.
I just shut my somewhat elitist mouth. I dont want to offend anyone from my guild.
I’m not seeing this. A lot of groups forming for dungeons are ~3 levels below the final boss on my server.
