What's confusing? You just need conduits,soul ash,reknown,willing souls,stygia,rubies,rep

It’s confusing just reading about it but the game does a pretty good job of explaining the features once you get to them and unlock them…assuming you actually were paying attention and not just clicking through dialog boxes and stuff.

$15 would not be chump change for lets say a piece of butter, but for a trip to Greece’s Islands it would be a steal.

You gotta compare the money to the value you are recieving, and nowadays that even a crap money costs $10. There are two things on the subscribing spectrum that i think are chump change.

Netflix and WoW.

Ofc, no one would like to see it being raised.

I think the problem is that you shouldn’t need to Google or use YouTube videos to understand what you need to do in a game. This isn’t a complaint, but just a point that it could have been laid out much better. A single place to track progress in all of these “systems” would be a wonderful quality of life addition.

Well considering the 15 a month right now isn’t getting the value its being payed for most wont justify the expense. In regards to Netflix they recently raised thier sub cost. Using some convoluted excuse as to why. I’m fairly certain with all the money they spent on that cuties backlash they’re trying to find ways to justify their higher prices.

Iono i find everything pretty simple to be honest.

Rubies - quality of life buffs to make world content easier

Anima and willing souls - used for table missions and upgrading your sanctum

Soul ash and memories - used to craft legendary gear

Reputation - been in the game since vanilla, unlocks rewards for that rep

Renown - how far into the covenant campaign you are

Stygia - used to purchase upgrades and items for the maw and torghast.

Did I miss anything?

Edit - oh conduits : ability enhancers you equip to your soulbinds

It’s like the devs don’t even look at this from the perspective of a new player.

i dont know i moved from South America to Italy, used to pay $14,99, on the “international netflix”, now im hooked on Italian Netflix which costs about €14,99, but still paying $14,99 which ammounts to about €12,50. So i guess im “lucky”

Most likely due to the how different currency works. I know 9000 yen in Japan seems like alot to someone who say spends 10 bucks.

Maybe they’re looking at it from the perspective of veteran players exploding the forums with “I’M BORED WITH NOTHING TO DO” threads.

They clearly didn’t for us either because it’s equally bad.

You don’t need google or youtube guides. Just play the game and pay attention and you’ll learn each thing as it comes online and relevant.

There is also screens and ways to look at each thing. People are intentionally being obtuse here and exaggerating how confusing things are or aren’t at the point of the game where the various systems/mechanics matter.

9000 yen is about $86, again it depends.

Wow for 9000 yen ? a lot…

A weekend trip to South Korea to watch Starcraft 2? probably on the cheap side

Agreed, plus some of the WQ’s are pretty convoluted. I’m finding myself having to go to outside resources to figure out what the heck to do a lot more than in past expansions.

Is this shot worthy? :tumbler_glass: WTH! SHOTS!

(I agree about the complexity comparison)

Well yeah again 9000 yen by itself seems like alot of money. Unless a person travels internationally consistently they wont know it amounts yo 86 dollars. Many who see the triple zeros will feel its alot compared to one or two zeros.

I know, however i am aware of what one USD ammounts to, one EUR, GBP, JPY, etc.

Newsflash, the Yen is so highly in numbers because they dont have cents.

So for example in the US you would have $1 be 100 cents. They only say 1 Yen for 1 cent.

Then 100 yen being kind of equal to $1, is not that crazy

It still depends on people knowing it though. If their not internationally traveling all the time they wont know. They’ll see 9000 yen and think that’s very high and very expensive.

Your right, thats why people should at least make the effort of translating it at least to USD

And we haven’t even gotten any patches that you know are going to just pile on more convoluted bs borrowed power. Look at the start of BFA to the end of it. Jeeeeezuuuuiiuuuuzzzz that game turned to a part time job quickly.

Early legion was a little tedious because all the AP early on was super powerful so doing every single world quest and spending all day in M+ to get to 54 asap was pretty much mandatory for mythic Helya/Nighthold
