What you would like for Evoker

Ok Blankwave.

Except for the other forums that are loaded with people describing the range LIMITATION as being a glaring issue since beta. Pointing out the fact that the class has performed well the last two seasons doesn’t negate the fact that it performed disturbingly bad the first two seasons, which really goes to show that the range has little to do with performance compared to the changes they made to the class throughout the expansion. So really, the range is an entirely separate issue; it’s a gameplay quality of life issue that has been a negative aspect of the class since the beginning and the main thing players complain about.

Which is why they are working towards making it less of an issue in the next expansion. That’s the evidence straight from the horse’s mouth, as they say. It’s not the solution most have asked for, but it’s a step in the right direction.

What’s really funny is that you’re right; it is a player limitation. It’s sad that you don’t understand why that’s the problem.

What’s sad is actually thinking that something should be changed for everyone because some players refuse to put effort in to get better at it; even though people are doing well with it and don’t want it to change.

This concept of “I’m not good at this, make it easier so I don’t have to learn to play it” is the most wildly entitled nonsense ever.

Welp, you can’t argue anymore against someone that comes right out and says inclusiveness is bad if it affects you. Though God only knows why increasing the range would have any other effect than causing more players to play the class.

look, if I suck at melee, any melee spec should have 40 yards. If I suck still, make it 80 so I don’t need to care about mechanics. Else, you’re against inclusivity.

So every class should have max range of 40 yards? Ok, let’s do it.

see, I need 80 because 40 isn’t enough.

Wish granted. All classes 80 yards. We are now all raid bosses.

  1. More dragon colors and armor options
  2. I like to make my dragon more heavy set. Think Barney the purple dinosaur or puff the magic dragon
  3. Some epic quest to get different colored fire breath disintegrate dream breath and upheaval
  4. A talent to allow you to hover and casting power empower spells
  5. Comparable utility for devastation and preservation to augmentation.
  6. Special dialogue options by speaking to other dragons
7.racial feature to create a cooking fire with my breath and to gain extra gold and silver and copper from drops because dragons like shiny things

It might just be me, but if I had to choose someone to blame for the negative moments of the evoker, I would assume that at least for Devastation, the biggest villain of the spec is actually its extremely poorly designed mastery.

While we’re requesting customization options, it’d be lovely to have better jawline and snout width options for players thay want more masculine presentation.

It’s so obvious the dracthyr were made with a female sensibility in mind first. They look really androgynous in the humanoid dragon body, with a wide lower body and a narrow upper body and narrow, thin snouts.

I don’t want a thick draconid, I just want a more V-shaped masculine body with broad shoulders and a better masculine jawline and snout options.

would be nice if i could turn off the shoulder and belt tmog option while in dragon form (but keep it for visage form). Some tmogs just don’t work at all with dragon form.

Choice node toggle option for hover, old kil’jaeden cunning style, maybe removes the little jump but lets you perma cast and move.
The idea of super mobile but shorter ranged class is neat but there are specs that are both just as mobile and have longer ranged; while i really want evoker to be the mobile ranged class when it comes to damaging on the move.

And a bunch new customizations for the dracthyr form, at least enough to match each of the actual evoker tier sets and their color varients. If theyre never gonna make them fully mogable they should at least give a way show off the tier pieces they collect. DH got a couple custom pieces in legion giving evoker the ability to unlock their tier from dragonflight in dracthyr form feels minimum.

Devastation

Ruby and Azure Essence Burst turn into a single node

Power Nexus - Increases your maximum essence by 1 and your essence regeneration by 10%. (Just like Windwalkers for Devastation and Preservation)

Mastery to be Reworked with Season 4 tier set with the one change of Empower spells extend the duration of when Obsidian Shards blaze with power instead of just a hard cap of 5 seconds.

Ruby Embers reduce to 8 seconds instead of 12.

Feed the Flame replaces Firestorm into the middle of the tree and reduce to 6 casts instead of 9.
or
Pyre has chance to stick or embed itself to an enemy and pulses fire damage within 8 yards over y seconds before exploding for z damage.

** Innate Magic, Enkindled, Honed Aggression, Raging Inferno, Snapfire, Imminent Destruction, Everburning Flame, and Power Swell Reworked. ***

Innate Magic and Enkindled turned into 1 point nodes to have easier access to Heavy Wingbeats / Clobbering Sweep Or just make a path from Obsidian Bulwark.

Why is Tip the Scales still a 2 min cooldown? You already Nerf Fire Breath in PvP so why can’t we use it more in PvE. Reduce to a 1 minute cooldown. At least to Preservation.

Kind of stinks if you ever accidently dismount mid air you cant activate soar until your on the ground.

Also, i wish we could toggle soar to be static tbc flying.

I’d like a PVP specific armor and disintegrate nerf.

They’ve posted that you will be able to toggle that in WW.

I would like cosmetic affect of the eyes, like the dragon aspects. And I would like more skin colors for them like void colors and some neon colors.

More animations. For example there isn’t any special animation for sprinting.

Also more armor customization would be nice.

Visage form on character select screen.

Disintegrate always castable while moving, not just after using Hover.

Ground Mount Hover form

Soar and Hover combined into something akin to druid flight form or some sort of lenience time when touching the ground while soaring so you can mine / herb and take off again.

More race options for visage form, they dont even need any extra options like horns n stuff, just add them as they are now, maybe as barber shop option

Perma visage form glyph

Rescue being usable without an allied target (like heroic leap)
