What year is it in Midnight?

I’m just curious here - any ideas? My understanding is that TWW was set in 42 After the Dark Portal. There’s been some inconsistency over the years as to whether an expansion lasts for 1 lore year or two lore years. If we follow real time I suppose it’ll be about one and a half… but I’m interested if anyone’s done the research.

I don’t know, but I can guarantee you that you have a better idea of what year it is than Blizzard does.

I’m not 100% sure on the exact year of Midnight. The last known year is 42 with The War Within and it just depends on how long The War Within and Blood Ties were.

I’m unsure as to when we would get an official answer on the matter.

We know it’s at least 43, because of the Seasons comic. It showed a Winter’s Veil in the middle of TWW, presumably marking the end of year 42. It’s unclear whether another year has passed since then, though
