I struggle with this:
We have evil dragons, time travel, time traveling dragons, kung fu pandas, demons, time traveling demons, a lich, Sylvanas expansion, orcs in space, time traveling orcs in space…
It’s all been done. Well, we could have a time traveling lich queen
Probably needs to be some single continent on Azeroth. Wrath, Pandaria, and Legion all have that in common.

We haven’t had the flipped dimension we’re the Alliance are the big bad villains and the Horde are the righteous heroes yet. When it happens I want to see the bad guys wearing Van Dyke beards.

The Light.
Intro Zone would be Farahlon where an entrance to the Realm of the Light is opened by the Vorlons/True Light who would do so by blowing up the Continent of Draenor for having those tainted by the Shadows:. the Naaru(the top of whose heads resemble the Centauri hairstyles)!
The story would be that the Shadows having escaped the Sepulcher thanks to the Jailer secretly tricked the Light Realm into becoming violent attackers going against the Vorlons’ plans.
The Vorlons would obviously be the First Ones who created the 6 Cosmic Forces(Holy, Life, Order, Disorder, Death and Void) and be in defiance of the Shadows who embody a 7th distinct Cosmic Force(the True Shadow)!
The Final Boss: Kosh(the bad one naturally as the good one would join and be killed off during Shadowlands)

If we’re worried about repeating, the Void would be in 3 of the last 4 expansions (Argus in Legion, all of BfA, and your new one).

if Legion was like a continuation of Burning Crusade, BFA was a continuation of Classic and Shadowlands was a continuation of Wrath of the Lich King
then perhaps the next expansion will be a continuation of Cataclysm

in Legion we dealt with the Burning Legion again
in Battle For Azeroth we had a faction war like the original Warcraft
in Shadowlands we fought the Scourge again
I’ve heard some mention from people that there would be a timeskip after we leave the Shadowlands so wouldn’t that be a time to reshape the world just like Cataclysm?
