What Would You Consider the Last ‘Good’ Expansion?

Gonna say Pandaria, here. Yes, it slaughtered the talent trees and brought us the system I know and tolerate today. Yes, it had Pandas, though I don’t know why so many are so vocally against them. But for me, it was also fun. More importantly, it was vivid, vibrant, and lively.

Looking back on the Loremaster achievements, Pandaria is the closest one I am to completing and that’s basically just a matter of me logging into my Warlock and wrapping up Dread Wastes. For WoD quests… hahahaha let’s not talk about WoD.

I hear good things about Legion, but I joined too late into the expansion to really get a feel for how it was. Yes, WoD was that damning for me that I was ready to give the game up for good.

Wrath will always be my favorite expansion because that’s when I played not only with IRL friends, but my brother as well. Also, Snow Level: the Expansion was a fantastic idea. Cata made me feel amazing as a DPS Warrior thanks to interrupts mattering enough to warrant their use, and what a time it was to be alive as a Hunter! It’s easy for me to forget that Trap Launcher wasn’t always a thing.

But Pandaria is the last expansion I played that I truly enjoyed.
