What would wow look like if blizzard remove item level from the game?

If by remove you mean removing stat progression from gear, the whole game would change.

I think this is the direction they were going in.
Ilvl and stats do scale too fast now, but I think blizz is ramping up for whatever is happening in last titan. Then after that, we are getting smashed back to the stoneage stats wise.
