What would it take to restore your confidence in Blizzard?

i respect and thank you for your efforts but there’s some hairsplitting being done and all i can think of is why there’s no mok’nathal option for mag’har orcs

Except … they did make the cut. Pandaren have been around in the story since Warcraft III. There was a lot of excitement when they were announced for TBC and a lot of disappointment when they were scrapped. Pandaria was a location that people constantly asked about, much like Kezan, Kul’Tiras, and Zandalar.

I’m talking about their popularity in the community leading up to their inclusion, not the census data of how many players choose to play them afterwards.

The lore reason is that Kultirans have been monster fighters and their fat is actually muscle.

Is that it was comprised of 200 votes.

I’m not saying Gilgoblins would not have been a good Allied Race. Unfortunately I won’t be surprised to see them wind up as Goblin customization now.Is that it was comprised of 200 votes.

I can’t say for sure honestly, but I know a lot of people do want them and they are a requested alliance race that hasn’t been made into something yet. The kelfin thread is one of the most active allied race request threads to date.

Which is not and has never been a reliable source. It collected data from people with a specific addon.

Realmpop was the last reliable source, and it had Zandalari rising pretty high as well. The problem with census there is that it fluctuated a lot. There were times there were more Vulpera registering on it than Void Elves.

I don’t know to be honest. It would be nice to see more reliable data on this. I will say this though. If an addon exists there is a statistical probability that just about every race will use it evenly. Of course I won’t deny its not the most accurate source.

For everything else I didn’t quote my respone is “Fair enough”.

I am happy they made the cut fyi. All I am saying is. What if blizzard looked and pandaren and was like. Well this race won’t have the mass appeal of elves. Better not do it. That would be bad right?

Well, we know its their shareholders.

This statement reminds me of this scene tbh.

It’d be great if Blizzard would post the information themselves.

The problem with WoWcensus was that one had to download an addon, and also submit the data gathered by it to the website. The addon basically performed and recorded a /who in each zone the player with the addon was active in, which also had the drawback of only being able to collect data on the first 50 people to be listed, since /who only lists up to 50 people in a zone.

Realmpop was more reliable, but not 100% accurate either. That collected data from AH listings and transactions and comparing that to data available on the armory. Basically, so long as someone used the AH or was in a guild with someone who did, they’d show up.

i want to do arenas as a void elf but all my friends are horde

i believe they should delete the factions so that they can ignore both alliance and horde requests at the same time. this will really increase the amount of contempt the wow dev team can muster, which is their goal at present i believe.

No.

Hear me out.

They’re going to put Ogres, Sethrak, High Elves, Naga, and Cat Girls on a new third faction, and charge $50 to be able to change to this new faction.
All the races do 10% more DPS.

Everybody will transfer to the new faction for competitive play and they can all play together.

Player housing would be fun as long as it was not a one and done thing like garrisons
Bring back Justice and Valor because I always felt it was a chill way to gear alts
Server only WPVP zones like TB/Wintergrasp
Playable San’layn
A return to the style of casual daily content that we had in the later patches of MoP
Lor’themar as Warchief

At this point, player housing would be monetized to hell.

Every aspect of this game is now with the token. It honestly doesn’t matter at this point.

I feel it does, and that the token isn’t the main issue, but okay.

Just to clarify, I’m not trying to be snide. I just genuinely (but respectfully) disagree, and due to stuff going on as I’m posting I don’t feel up to explaining why right now. Normally I would explain my stance better but…meh.

I would assume it would be a partial monetization. If we got player housing based on other game models and what WoW is doing now with their store, there would probably be some locations and decos you could get free, some crafted, some as drops and some as purchases. That way, it wouldn’t lock everyone into having to spend in order to have the benefit of use, but for some specific items, you would be paying something. Same as pets and mounts.

I can understand how that could be frustrating for people who don’t have unlimited cash. But I would happily take that system as opposed to the non-existent housing we have now.

100% Blizzard would also tie Player Housing with Subscription, and anything stored in Housing would be deleted if your sub lapsed.

I don’t think they would, or we’d lose stuff when our subs lapsed right now.

Give it time.
