Did you stop to think about why that might be? That between 12 classes and 36 specs already in the game they did not have the design space left to create a new class that wasn’t hyper-specific and trying to wedge itself into the leftover cracks between others without pulling a demon hunter and stealing a build-defining ability from an establish class and still not even being able to get to 3 specs of its own?
Evoker could have been great if they scrapped aug, allowed other races, and got rid of the pointless range restrictions. There aren’t too many classes or specs. Evoker was just poorly designed.
I’m just waiting for Delves and Warbands to be finalized and hopefully for fixes to the professions. I’m already peeved about the delay in real flying (I’m a slow leveler, probably won’t finish the storyline for a week or so) so unless they come up withthe correct polish for professions I’m not pre-ordering. WoW is still free so I’ll most likely play after the first week or so but if Square ever puts a token in FFXIV I’ll never look back.
fox race best race
I don’t make the rules!
IF they would have doubled down on storytelling and let go all the social media political activists they currently have bloating thier teams and focused on good writing, and pride though company integrity - a workforce based around experience over diversity, where talented people are placed in jobs they are proficient at. Additionally they should give up the lie that this or that will cause feature x/y to have to be cut because of time constraints when there are people outclassing them in armor/environmental design without effort, for free, and in little to no time.
Its a pipe dream of course now that microsoft has the reins. They will just take your money and turn it into subpar products, with top shelf pricetags.
More information on Delves. Right now, all we know is that they’ll be scaling content for 1 - 5 players that will offer Heroic Raid equivalent gear on their highest difficulty.
What they actually will look like and what rewards outside of the weekly epic box they have will be a huge factor for me. Like, I would love it if Delves can also be used to farm whatever the new gear upgrade currency will be.
Being told we’ll get at least 4 raids vs 3 raids and a lazy fated season.
Honestly I haven’t bought it yet, not sure if I will. Because I play for dungeons/raids only
Honestly, nothing. WoW expansions have been on a downward spiral since WoD. At this time, I’m only playing DF and TWW because of my guild.

40yd range
Aug changed to a tank spec with a few midrange abilities ala pallies
Form actually on all 4s and looks like an actual wow dragon
Visage form usablable in combat with glyph
Oh look I made them a great class in 4 lines.
Mount scale editing.
The ability to change the size of whichever mount to something feasible for the race you play. I’d honestly pay for it on the store.
I don’t know what would get me excited for TWW, tbh. I’m feeling very “meh” about it in general because of its setting and plot.
Old Gods and Underground. Great.
Maybe Delves will be fun. I don’t know.
What I want most is more systems and features that allow me to customize and personalize my things a bit more. I LOVE the customizable dragon mounts we got in DF and I want more stuff like that.
I haven’t really enjoyed retail since Legion. I’ll play season 1 for arena, but if the PvP scene dries up again like it did in s2 of DF I’ll probably just go back to classic or wait for Ashes.
DF had super good gameplay systems, no major annoying fomo stuff, Solo Shuffle we’ve been asking for since 2010, and still none of the homies came back to play it.
Playable Gnolls would of. Or those half people half nerubian spider people?
Guild halls. People have been asking for it for over a decade. Honestly they could do an entire expansion of just player housing and guild halls and just a bunch of social stuff and a revamped transmog system and I think people would be pretty hyped for it. Just take an entire expansion to take a step back from the story and lore and the game taking itself seriously and just add a bunch of stuff that actually brings players together to interact with each other and create their own content.
Stuff that makes the gameplay feel like something new is there.
Not just the same gameplay in a different place.
For DF we had Dragon flying, that was new
and Drakthyr they were new
I liked that.
I’ve got to say that Delves are what excites me about TWW, and the mount you get from them. Running around with Brann (and hopefully, at some point, Harrison Jones) sounds so cool!
I never get excited about announcements any more. Less disappointment that way. I just wait until I can play it to see if it’s actually fun.
Not sure. Would like a tinker/artificer class. Honestly I’ve learned not to expect much in terms of WoW anymore.
Legion brought us the ultimate showdown between the Holy Light and the forces of Chaos! SL brought us the mega ultimate showdown between the Holy Light and the forces of Death! TWW and TLT will bring us the super mega ultimate showdown between the Holy Light and the forces of the hungering Void! Don’t miss out! Only on PPV!
(We may have already had a Void showdown in BFA. No refunds.)
I’m honestly excited for account wide. I understand its going to be a slow roll out starting with DF and then earlier expansions soon according to the Blizzcon video w/ Ion. I certainly hope they do NOT have so much currency that we are overflowing with it in our bags like we are still doing currently in DF! Like come on Blizz please add to the currency tab better yet lets step back from so much currency and events we cant keep up with. Time Rifts are fine but the great dig and dreamsurges was a little too much over the top. Just saying.
