I’m just glad DF is ending. The Hero Talent look like a waste of dev time but we’ll use it regardless because we have to. Dwarves are lame too.
No doubt this is by far laziest expansion to date. The rep-sharing stuff is cool but they could’ve held off. We were asking for it but I’d honestly rather see housing than all that.
In the end I’m just grateful it’s not dragons happy go lucky friendship bad.

Hero talents seemed interesting but I haven’t liked anything they have revealed so far. Maybe delves will be that feature. It is the only other really new thing in TWW.
Yeah, I know about Warbands. But that is more of a QOL feature. It isn’t really going to affect gameplay much. It will just make sharing stuff with my alts easier.
The rest of TWW just seems formulaic and standard stuff.
Personally, I would be happy if druids could finally dual wield daggers and fist weapons…

I’m curious more than anything.

I’m always a little excited for new expansions, because the things I like to do are always enjoyable, like leveling and questing, hunter pet hunting, achievs, mounts etc.
What would have me super excited would have been playable Saberon if I’m honest.
I’ll still play though and enjoy it enough I’m sure for what I like to do.

If Earthen are a slightly taller version of Dwarves… would Humans be a slightly taller version of Earthen? Are Humans just tall Dwarves?

I think at this point WoW players are wrapped up so hard in what they wanted ten years ago (ogre/broken/etc playable race) or pipe-dream requests (everybody gets a fourth spec and a pony!) that they’re no longer able to see the forest from the trees.
WoW is a game with an extremely diverse playerbase that all play the game in vastly different ways and have different wants. I could care less if they added more world content, but I’m not going to grief the dev team for taking the time and resources to add more because I know there are players that love that, and that’s all they do.
If what it takes to get you excited about an expac is “No-exceptions, this exact system/race/doodad added to the game” then you might need to reexamine how you feel about the game in general. Are you engaging in sunk-cost behavior?
I’m not stoked for Earthen by any means but eh, it’ll be an option. I know the dungeon and raid content will probably be good, I’m very optimistic for delves as a third content pillar, and I love elite specs in GW2 so if Hero Talents scratch the same itch, I’m happy.
I just have to laugh at the “They really added [x] instead of high elves” takes nowadays. There are four elf races in the game and people are mad about a third dwarf-skeleton race.
From Blizzard’s point of view, they can’t please anyone so they might as well do whatever they feel is appropriate. And I don’t blame them.

What other reskinned night elves are there? Also nightborne are really cool and BlizZard gave players a poorer model than what we all saw in the nightborne capital.
Dwarves though have been very popular and iconic with NEs and Orcs for a long time. Dark Iron Dwarves were requested for a long time.
Earthen Dwarves doesn’t resonate with anyone because no one asked for them.

By lore a high elf is a reskinned night elf that liked arcane powers a bit too much. And you know how blood elves and void elves became
You also have humans and worgen, who are technically humans but with shape shifting. Along with kul tirans who are also humans
I’d really like to see a new class. Mostly because Evoker was a huge let down. A new class that can be most races and isn’t incredibly polarizing would be great. Overall though, I’m pretty hyped for TWW.

I consider High elves uniquely their own while Blood Elves are an off shoot of High elves.
I mean if BlizZArd is going with just reskins they should have just released High Elves long ago. High Elves have been far more requested than Earthen Dwarves. Naga, Ogres, Jinyu, etc are all more requested than Earth Dwarves.

I agree with you with evoker cause I can’t play that class for crap I really dislike it. I don’t even have one at max level.
But you have to admit there’s too many classes to balance now and with hero talents there’s gonna be absolutely no balancing at all.
Should have stopped at demon hunter 12 classes was enough
This may be kind of a weird thing but I miss being able to farm rep whenever I want. If I want to take three days and farm the heck out of something to get to revered…I should be able to do that. Faction tabards, dailies as they used to be, killing X mob out in the world to gain Y rep, would be a nice start.
An exciting story with no ahem real life influence. I was extremely disappointed with the centaurs…I’ll just leave it at that. We need more testosterone leadership back.
More hairstyles for all races.
Absolutely NO TYPE of mission table. I hope they continue to die off.
An option to run Mythic + with no timer, even if you get lesser rewards.
Player housing. I still love my garrison.
