What would have excited you in War Within if you're not?

Yeah, if they’re gonna add support they need more than one support spec. And making a spec support by Hero Talents isn’t gonna cut it. Either they need to add some more entirely support specs very soon or they need to delete support.

I feel it is just really cruel to make Evokers, tell them they are a ranged dps and healer class, people reroll to it, then make Aug and Evoker is now just “Aug or wrong”.

You could say “hey, we’re going to add additional support specs so that you Evokers can play your other specs while some other class fills the role we thrust on you”.

Instead, nothing, no plans to add more support roles, no plans to change evokers, so they are stucking being Aug or not wanted.

I still completely believe that 1 spec of each “pure” dps spec should be made support. Gives pures a “group friendly” spec they can roll like healers and tanks can, gives evokers the ability to roll something else, gives more groups a variety of ways to put M+ groups together.

There is no downside outside of “but but but my favorite of 3 mage ranged DD specs! Don’t change it”.

Whatever, pick the ones they don’t balance well and turn it into support.

Or remove Aug. Or make it a tank spec.

the horde and alliance faction thing being 100% gone. woudla done it for me in df but its a funny want considering i dont even play w/ ppl myself. pure solo. i just think its time to get rid of it so they playerbase can finally play w/ their friends after 20yrs. this just hows much i care for the actual gameplay aspects compared to more qol features bc tww just looks mid and wow has been disappointing for a while lol.

Opt out of sharding.
A laggy zone where things eventually die is better than a glitchy zone where things disappear.

It’s not out yet. No one has seen anything. All you do by complaining about it is attract the parasite type Content Creators who farm for clicks form angry people then tell them what they want to hear by posting negative advertising.

In the end you just drive new people away who might play the game which would benefit all of us.

As a solo I was looking forward to delves and such but after df the oomph just evaporated. What used to keep me interested just left without a goodbye.

I could blame player’s for not being nice, but thats been going on so long its a fixture. I used to be semi- optimistic about new expacs and now I just seem to wait to see how they’ll screw it up: take out what works, and what we like, or complicate it beyond recognition.

I’ve just become ambivalent. And don’t have a clue on how to tell them what they should do - which is oddly weird to me; usually I’m full of ideas and too long of posts explaining. :four_leaf_clover: :green_heart:

Playable Ogres n Dance Studio would have me hyped.

Currently taking things as they come though.

It’s sad how much they under value something like this.

I’ve mentioned it in a few posts over the years. If they did something like new world’s housing. I think it would take off. Plots WITHIN major cities. They are individual phasing BUT it cycles through the homes that exist there, allowing players to walk through the homes… as they are PART of the city.

Then of course all the cosmetics and collectables and possible irl shop items cough cough blizzard are you reading this? cough cough

Like if you want to add another thing players can invest time in, this seems like an easy one.

PVP revamp would get me excited for it. Something on the scale of PVP becoming intertwined with PVE, meaning you can go into PVP with PVE gear. Doing away with the idea of PVP gear and expanding on the honor talents.

Three honor talents is lazy, period.

Right? I mean, WildStar did eventually fail but housing probably kept that game going for at least a year past when it would have failed without it. Housing was such a huge part of that game, because they did it so right. If Blizz did housing that good, didn’t half dooker it, they would see more players a better retention.

Housing’s not for everyone, but for those who who just dabble a bit to those hardcore into housing it’s evergreen content. With a good housing system there’s always something to do with your house. Even during a content drought there’s always more building and rebuilding to do with your house. Sometimes I’d log into WS and do nothing but work on my houses.

And that’s content the player is creating. Housing is so much bang for your buck. It’s like Lego bricks. The devs don’t have to come up with story and dungeons and raids and mechanics and all that to keep the player playing. All they have to do is give them some construction material and say ‘Have at it’. And what I’ve seen, from games with actually good housing systems– that’s key-- players will.

Multi classing maybe, new talent trees for each class. I Need something new to think about and play with and Hero talents are just too shallow.

Warbands could be quite cool, but that’s the only thing going on in Warthin imo.

Class design… more specifically, pulling back the reins on “increasing skill ceiling” and “adding complexity”.

Back in WoD they might have gone a little too far with pruning (personally I was happy with it) which mostly lasted through legion. Then SL they added covenant abilities, then DF we essentially got more stuff due to talent trees, and now we’re getting hero talents.

I think we’re in the phase where when Blizzard decides on a direction, they hit their target then just keep on going way overboard.

  • Player housing
  • Way more cosmetic glyphs
  • Hero talents that actually feel heroic and not tacked on covenant abilities.
  • Playable Ogres, new races.
  • New specs
  • Revamp the old capital cities

Delves and warbands sound like another shot at what they were trying to do in BFA/Systemlands but did not follow through.

DF class design is much better than previous expansions but they need to finish the job!

Gear rewards for PVE side is still all very confusing and they need to go back to simpler valor/justice system like PVP. PVP is doing better by going back to honor/conquest system for gearing. Needing to stack multiple different currencies from one patch to another leads to player apathy. Short seasons also leads to player apathy as it diminishes gear building.

World quest system is all but dead since introduced in Legion. Might as well go back to the old questing system or just make world quests more lucrative based on choices.

There also needs to be a better leveling progression for newer and returning players. DF talent revamp was a huge help in that regard but like I said finish the job! Finish what you started by adding the old BlizZard polish and the cherry on top.

Heirlooms are really in need of a massive revamp and veteran players should not feel punished investing in them.

They’re completely passive and forgettable. They think they’re being wise by making them 100% passive when in reality we want active talents. The trees are already crammed full of passive stuff and maintenance buffs.

Black arrow for dark ranger is active.

We who? Certainly not everybody.

Yes, the very first talent is the active one, the rest are all passive. Congratulations, you really helped solidify your flimsy point?

It’s all passive.

No duh? You can’t please everyone, we’ve known this for forever now, but we can see no one is hyped for what they’ve offered, hence this thread or are you just willfully ignorant?

no “we” don’t.
I’d rather see APM be trimmed in half or more myself.

piano specs aren’t fun

I don’t think you know what the word “all” means.

You’re making an assumption as to the reason why people aren’t hyped–not enough active hero talents. And that is not why I am not hyped for hero talents.

Okay then you have a perfect Hero talent system waiting for you. Good luck!

I mean I can’t know why every single person is unhappy about them, but okay then?

Yes, this is correct. Hence me correcting your “we want active talents” as if you were speaking for everyone.

I feel like I’m talking to an AI who doesn’t quite grasp human communication lol.
