I have like 5 tanks on ignore because I heal. (People who are jerks.)
DPS rarely are annoying enough.

I can’t be bothered to go find the post you made a few days ago, but I think part of the reason you feel tanking isn’t engaging may be due to your alt being guardian. It’s a very shallow spec, unfortunately. They’ve had times where they’re just immortal beef walls, but their weaknesses have been things like threat/dps/utility.
The rest is probably just you being over-geared and over-skilled for 10s as yes, due to how tanks have to go from handling m0 to m20(?), the power milestones are very noticeable and suddenly you’ll be bored and not feeling threatened in heroic raids/m10s when your character is optimised for mythic raids/m15s as an example.
Another thing to think about is average pull duration, I guess. You could be doing 10s on a new tank alt but you might have dps players who are performing much higher this late in a season than if you had run 10s at that ilvl back at the start of the season.
This isn’t to say you didn’t have valid points, BTW, I’m just adding some thoughts.
Yeah, I agreed. For example, you have 680+ Enh/Ele/Devoker/Feral/etc in your group when the tank is 660-670 in +10. The quality of life is low for everyone because the specs rip threat off tanks. I am actively avoiding Brewmaster Monk for M+.
Also I am avoiding +10 as Enh Shaman because I would rip threat off tanks easier on +10 than +12-15.
Think about to make using defensives more rewarding. Mitigation or avoid/block/parry could create damage buffs and procs. Interrupting spells as a tank could have a chance to deflect them and send them back to the caster. Tanks could be able to disarm enemies for a few seconds which would add the enemy’s attack power to the tank for that period.
See how the shield in Doom - The Dark Ages works, this would be way more funny than the current way how tanks work. It is less passive defense and more revenge.
