now I must search youtube for a video of this!
Wall Jumping, the most basic of tricks for exploring during Vanilla WoW.
The long and short of it was that with a few well-placed hops, you could slowly work you way up many surfaces which were otherwise too steep to climb.
Got into some fun locations back in the day, such as old Mount Hyjal with Archimonde’s skull mounted on the tree.
Good times… good times…
Half-hoping it makes a return in Classic WoW, even if that is just wishful thinking.
Corrupted Blood was the best, that was pretty much amazing. It was crazy, skeletons and desolation everywhere. No city was safe, the only way to survive was to run for the hills and find somewhere that wasn’t populated. It was a completely unintended model of a real world plague spreading.
Though, it was fun to get the MC Barron Geddon bomb on your Hunter pet and dismiss it so you could bring it back out at the AH and watch the chaos ensue when it hit everyone too.
And, rolling ignites on your mage were a lot of fun.
Not sure if it counts but kiting Shandris Feathermoon to Orgrimmar in Cata and having her wreck everything and everyone including Garrosh was the greatest thing I’ve ever experienced in WoW
Going underneath the Shrine of Two moons in vale of eternal blossoms as a warlock, putting my demonic circle under there, and go into the city and kill people, then teleport back underneath the city when it got dangerous
Silvershard Mines back in Legion. Playing s hunter I disengaged off a ledge(where the berserking buff is) and went through the wall and fell into purgatory.
When leveling I was in the Shado-pan Monastery dungeon for lvl 85-90 and I ended up falling through the floor randomly also into purgatory(I have screenshots of this one :D)
AFKing in the legion invasions and getting free exp
Now I regret not taking screenies or a vid of that backstage area above Un’Goro…I can’t find anything on it like I do for Corrupted Blood or the death grip on a ferry! It’s mind-boggling to think that buried under Hilsbrad is a ship that is somehow ‘really’ what the Ratchet/Booty Bay ferry appears to be.
The bug that had me laughing was the Cradle of Chi-Ji bug. All the students would massacre anyone who landed on the island to do their daily. I remember getting to the island and seeing the sand littered with player skeletons and people trying to fight the students only to be one shot.
For awhile there was a bug that let hunters enter druid class hall and tame the Dreamway puppies but like typical Blizzard they removed them and gave us who tamed them an ugly worg at same time allowed those who tamed the baby direhorns to keep theirs.
