See, I don’t see why they would do this so late in the game. Leveling dungeon LFG was so easy, and rewarding for SUCH a long time. Like, almost a decade. Why did they change it only last year? Like, what was so bad that they didn’t change it until now?
But normal dungeons are super easy.
You are 100% incorrect. Chain running means to run them back to back. It has nothing, 0, nada, zilch, to do with how you handle mobs inside. Just because you chain pull when chain running does not mean that the two terms are synonymous.
I really don’t understand what that person was trying to accomplish.
They read it wrong and just can’t admit they read it wrong. You did word it a bit funny calling all dungeons trash though.
Yea, I ammended it. 1-100 is largely trash, though. Also, who even chain-pulls non non-100+? It’s literally impossible without multiple wipes. It’s a stupid thing to assume someone was talking about chain-pulling when they never even mentioned it, especially for non-100+.
Painless + learning PVE are not two concepts that go together. If it’s painless, you’re not learning anything. If nothing hurts, if nothing kills you, then you won’t get better because you won’t learn from your mistake because there’s no consequence.
Levelling dungeons pre-change were awful. Boring and pointless, just afk farm xp. That’s not fun. Overcoming a challenge is fun, or at least more engaging. Some are overtuned (dire maul), but other than a few outliers I think the change is a good one.
If you hate levelling that much buy a boost, or just quest.
They did reduce the amount of xp required from 1-100 recently, with the biggest reduction being in the 60-80 range.
this is why i have avoided cataclysm dungeons. out of all the expansions out there, that one has some pretty broken enemies. not fun to run.
When you make yourself look like a fool, some people can’t accept they made a mistake and take it in stride, sometimes they have to act like they have the moral high ground.
I was probably an attempt to bring leveling dungeons in-line with cap dungeons, because previously the two things were entirely different beasts. A new player who’d leveled solely on dungeons would’ve been bewildered by max level dungeons.
“But normals are easy!” yeah they are at this point, largely thanks to Blizz severely underestimating how quickly the playerbase would progress to “heroics” being “normal” and M0 being “heroics”. Remember that leveling dungeon tuning happened before BfA was even released (prepatch).
Even with normal cap dungeons being pushovers, it still makes sense for leveling dungeons to provide some level of challenge so we don’t get as many firestanders in heroics and M0s at max level. If leveling dungeons have no educational value, they really have no purpose.
