The fact that Alliance players want her dead is just another point in her favor.
The Alliance shouldn’t like the leader of the enemy faction. But even with all the controversy and crying I’m glad we have her instead of my bones hurt when I’m making the wrong decision or am being lied to.

I mean, I could post on my shaman instead. If we’re going to go full in character the only characters I have that wouldn’t lean more towards her than Saurfang would be my monk and Alliance warlock.
Including my warrior. She would see Saurfang and Baine as cowardly for not confronting Sylvanas directly. But this isn’t world’s end, so no need to go down that rabbit hole.
Right there is your problem. The Horde was NEVER written that way until much later. I am OG Horde. I rolled Horde because Thrall was HEROIC. So was Cairne. So was Vol"Jin. The Horde had HEROES not just PvP wannabes.
Up until Garrosh took over, the Horde was NEVER about “Die Alliance scum”. It was Thrall working with Jaina. Thrall and Taratha. Thralls Horde was about saving Azeroth for all.
Varian was the “I HATE THE OTHER SIDE” character. It was an ALLIANCE thing to only focus on the faction war. Again this didn’t change until Cata and Garrosh wanted to take Alliance lands.
The Horde was peace, till BLizz screwed up who did what

He’s more OG Horde because WC I & II were about “Die Alliance scum”, and ignoring that he’s more in line with his racial choice because Blood Elves were “Die Alliance scum (except for Velen, he’s cool)”. Especially after Jaina’s purge.
Also there was some notable “Die Alliance scum” in vanilla, starting at Razor Hill or Deathknell respectively due to the Alliance encroaching on Horde lands.
And before you mention the Scarlets, in vanilla they actively recruited Alliance members to their cause and had representatives in Stormwind.

We both know that the Horde from WC 1 & 2 has NO bearing on Thralls Horde. ie WC 3 and WoW. I mean 1/2 the Horde races from Vanilla were not even in those Horde’s and those Hordes were controlled by demon blood.
Comparing Thralls Horde to the Horde of WC 1 & 2 would be like saying The Forsaken are the same as Arthas’ Scourge and not like the ones that joined the Horde.

The High elves were betrayed by the alliance. They are in the Horde now (oh, except for the Void Elves, that also betrayed the Blood elves and the Horde).
The undead people was hunted by the alliance. They are in the Horde now.
The Goblins were attacked without even a reason. They are in the Horde now.
I play those 3 races, my only “problem” here is that i said that i liked one escene of the game that im playing, one escene in particular that you (and other people here) dislike.
Yes, they were. Then Blizzard realized it would make a more interesting story if the Horde was more complicated than just a bunch of bloodthirsty savages and introduced Thrall and his story.
It is interesting to see how many current players in the Horde are wanting to go back to those days, seems mostly just the diehard Sylvy fans.

Once she does that, she will take away your free will and you can no longer control the game. It will turn into an idleRPG where you log in once a day to see how far you progressed while you were offline

I never said the Alliance is perfect. My only assertion is the Horde is worse.
You can say all you want. Horde may have boring writing, rotation war chiefs and racial leader who have the loyalty of dung beetle. We at least not boring.
Alliance on other hand if not for plot armor a mile wide, god tier characters and so many saves for alliance should of been wipe out long time ago. How they survive is beyond me. The current one should not be loosing . Only in the current nimble dev minds could they pull off patch 8.1 ridiculous same strategy of the horde and the horde fail for it.
Then we roll in patch two and now have full blown rebellion. With no build up at all. Just the lazy trio released a old god and opps i guess i have no choice now plot. Never mind the stupidity of the whole thing. That we cause.
The whole game has just two whole stories big bad and war against fractions. Imagine only one left. They really need to find a competent writer for something original.
Here a start.
- Sylvanas wins. The next expansions alliance reborn. From ashes raises a new alliance. Plenty of plots.
- Next expansions we explore a new world thanks to goblins space ship.
- There been random killings around the world expansion. Try to figure out who behind and try to stop them. The end boss can be a gang of them.

Considering I like my free will and not committing genocide, it’s not a hard choice really. Even my Horde toons I RP as neutral, not Horde. The Horde was better in WC3 and Vanilla. Not whatever the heck this Horde is today.
