My bet is that they will not make another void lord, if they do everyone will have the same reaction “this again?”
I don’t know man. You are the only one feeling like this. I think they will. Like they did before.
The only way they can do this is if the void lords’ true form is not pure energy.
If they make another void lord manifest in its true form, being in fact a monster, I believe it.
If they make a second void lord and it is just another big voidwalker, who repeats the same phrases about devouring, I am sure that it will not please anyone.
I have a question.
If titans are big robots and they make lesser robots.
If Sargeras become a demon through Disorder and every disorder creature is about demons.
If all creatures of life are organic.
What makes you think that void lords are just pure energy capable to make organic aliens from nothing???
Because that’s how Blizz wrote their fictional cosmos for their universe.
And in this world they created physical beings because it’s difficult for the void to take a corporal form.
It’s so cool though if your audience aren’t apes. A shadow is a 2D representation of a 3D object cast down into a lower dimension. The idea of 4D entities able to functionally traverse inaccessible corridors and manifest themselves into our realm wherever they please is so threatening and truly god-like without simply having absurd powerscaling. It also works well in the sense that void creatures are one of the few enemy factions who can just have infinite mooks with no logistics and have it not feel like a butt pull. I hated the enemy in DF because I always wondered where these guys came from. There was always magically exactly enough mooks to be dramatic but defeatable.
Is not possible for a void lord to materialize into as physical body, in a form of a monster, to be able to remain in reality longer? instead of making minions?
Old Gods have flesh.
I guess that would depend on what Xalatath is, although she seems to be something else given the information from the lorewalker quests.
That’s one of the key differences, yes. The flesh.
Masses and masses of vast tentacular flesh.
It’s possible - that’s what Dimensius is doing in the raid in 11.2, which is what we have to stop - but it’s not easy. Creating minions is usually a more efficient use of their time and energy.
He is trying to materialize in flesh? i thought he was trying to devour all matter not changing his voidwalker appeareance.
It’s an intermediate step:
- Steal Dark Heart (done)
- Make giant voidwalker body
- Conquer Azeroth
- ???
- Profit
Void creatures seem to come in two varieties: mutant abominations (with the most extreme being the Old Gods) and purple-black shadows that look more and more like generic voidwalkers over time,
But it’s still fuzzy to me whether voidwalker-forms are a transformation that actually happens to void-infused things or if this form is simply a placeholder illusion in our minds use to fill the hole of something we know is there we can no longer fully see.
How pure void energy creates alien organic creatures?
The void is where the souls of all retail workers go.
Unnatural selection? It randomly mutates matter in infinite permutations and selects one of possibilities that is viable life?
Meh, I still think its more interesting that the void lords are such powerful greater monsters that they don’t materialize in reality and the way we see them as voidwalkers is just a silhouette.
I prefer to believe that the voidwalker form is not their real form.
Void creatures are just blueberry jelly gas.
