What to do after Pre-BIS?

Me too.

I just reached level 60 last Friday. On the same day, I completed my 4pc Black Dragonscale and got the 5th and 6th pc of Beaststalker set. And the other day, I got my 2nd pc of Giantstalker.

There are few dungeons now that would upgrade my current gear. I think I only need items from 3 5-man dungeons. When I reached the max level, my things to do becomes lesser and lesser.

I hate grinding rep like the freaking snoozefest Timbermaw rep. I reached Honored already with Thorium Brotherhood. I dont understand why I dont want to run another dungeon without the loot I am lookin for.

We will see. I think I would have more M+10 time on Retail. Soon, I could continue my journey there to reach M+15 and Heroic/Mythic Raiding.

Farming for gold is not an activity I want. I did them all in Vanilla as a Naxx40 raider back in the days. I wont do boring stuffs ever again.

Another player discovers that endgame vanilla blows. News at 11.

You thought you did, but you didn’t.

What if he goes in there needing nothing, and loses every greed roll?

Then he gets nothing, and everyone else who needs gear makes out like bandits because they get to double dip with gear and gold.

Pretty much what I’m doing. I’ve got most of my prebis… just got epic mount… Priest is 44.

Between raiding a couple days a week… farming gold with mage (picking herbs and selling raid pots netted me 750g in 2 days last weekend and I haven’t done the first ZF graveyard farm) and leveling Priest on rest XP I’ve got plenty to do.

now you know why alts exist…

you also know why people from vanilla tried to warn people not to rush, enjoy leveling.

PvP will be out soon… healers are much loved in BG’s

My 44 Priest will have her epic mount when she dings 60.

i am pre raid BiS and a piece or two from MC as well.

What do i do?
I tank 5 mans and UBRS every night for guildies.

At the end of the day i can have all the best gear in the game.
but you still need at least 25-30 other people in decent gear to clear anything.
A good guild will run 5 mans and raids every day to continue gearing up people and earning rep.

And then there is the gold. when we clear a dungeon and noone needs anything we all walk away with a greeded blue or two. a normal strat undead makes me about 10-15 gold in 45-55 minutes. its easy mode. i have the pulls down. my healer knows me and what i pull and where i pull too. its easy money . all day.

Then there is the rep. I an aiming for exalted with argent dawn. timbermaw hold. and cenarian circle. getting close on argent dawn. well into revered with hydraxian water lords… I want my free entrance into NAXX.

Saying there is nothing to do now because you are in bis is selfish. and lazy.

Spend your off raid days leveling a class that is more efficient at farming.

You will be perpetually broke on your priest, they have have no efficient gold farm, unless you count playing at 3am farming nodes with minimal competition.

This is something you’ll run into for a bit. Right now is a bit of the “calm before the storm” when it comes to PvP implementation.

If you’re looking to do PvP - farm for the BiS for PvP if it differs at all from your raiding BiS (they are different on some items). I know when I played a paladin I had my ret and holy sets and so that gave me a lot to go after, and I imagine as a priest a shadow and holy/disc is a similar goal.

I don’t know your professions but making sure you have all of them at maximum. If you want to really min/max your character this is also the spot where you level an alt to farm materials and give your main two tradeskills. Personally I always liked Mining/Engineering on my main and then I would have an herbalism/alchemy alt for potions. You could do double professions too and just have an alt be a gathering mule too (hunters are great for this for increased speed and being able to sick your pet on something while you gather the node).

As others have mentioned above - gather materials for things you will need in the future. Specific food buffs through cooking/fishing or potions. Bombs/grenades for PvP.

There is a lot to do but if you play the game on one character 24/7 it can be daunting and limiting. It’s when you command an army of alts that can gather everything you need when you truly become powerful - and then it’s a matter of you can find another guild to raid on an alt if you want too.

This is a pretty unique time where you can focus on alts and professions. In a couple phases youre gonna be doing MC, ony, bwl, zg, have battlegrounds etc.

Phase 1 in particular is pretty light for end game.

Start a twink

Been having a lot of fun getting the boys together and PvPing over devilsaur

Stocking raid consumes for later phases. Naxx progression is rather steep on consume costs.

What do you mean what do we do? We play the game!
Farm, camp ally boats, help guildies get geared, create wpvp, level alts, do some RP, create twinks, level professions, camp ally escort quests, troll trade chat, camp allies, and ofc play the AH. Most importantly is camp allies. Use your imagination. It’s your game.

Respec shadow and kill horde. Stay holy then find a group and kill horde. Go explore undiscovered corners of the map and kill horde. Farm the gold farmers and kill horde.

Or

Come to the forums and complain there is nothing to do when there are literally thousands of activities you could participate in.

or quit and go back to retail?

sorry that was ultra snarky.

seriously roll a farming alt.

Wait…what?

time to level a hunter alt for farming. either that or have you leveled fishing yet, have you leveled first aid. are there factions you need profession patterns from? id say play the auction house but the AH is messed.

as a hunter, i made a rouge farmer miner/herb. i plan on going into dungeons and soloing for mats and chests.

Farm e’kos and mats/gold for potions and collect resist gear
