Shoo. Go back to the mud hut you crawled out of
Oh yeah i completely forgot about that, Expect the bi annual “”““faction war””“” expansion where alliance and horde starts fighting and then at the end join forces for the next expac
This cycle doesnt seem like it ll be ending anytime soon xD
See my home boy Ralph gets what i’m selling.
no, they are evil, and need to be stopped
remember this post
No. They really aren’t. Not sure why we have to remember any certain post… lol
Aside from the scarlets, we don’t really see much of that in wow… even the lightbound (yerls group) are more about converting because its the -only- way to promote ‘peace’.
They didn’t seem to hate the Mag’har when i did their AR quest, heck Yerl seemed sad they were in her eyes forcing her to make war on them.
Why they could make interesting villains again, we could get away from the madcap mustache twirling, and get the villains who honestly think they are doing the right thing, and mourn it… while trying to stabby us to death.
I really, really hope that we are done with that. Allaince and Horde have joined forces way too many times by now to the point that when I hear NPCs talking about how much they hate opposite faction I can’t even take them seriously
Not necessarily we still have khadgar teack history with guardians isn’t so good. Plus they have planted the seeds for xalatath to be a major issue plus the void lords
a - Obvious answer, but the Void Lords and whatever other minions they can conjure.
2 - Sargeras. He’s alive and still on the board, despite his imprisonment.
D - The Light, including but not limited to Yrel and what I’m convinced is our Garrosh turned into a Lightbound.
@ - Whatever new lore Blizzard invents, because they can, and will, and it will probably be cool.
? - Crossover o’ clock. Kefka? Sephiroth? Bill Cipher?
Oh no I am referring to the typical Deus Vault generic human plate wearing paladin people who worship the light and often are the type “Scarlets did nothing wrong” unironically.
I hope the same but Ion keeps saying how “the faction war is integral to wow” so I highly doubt it.
pvp can still exists even if factions unite but nope, gotta keep that divide of uneven factions even if it affects gameplay
They’re not evil – just blind to anything but their own unthinking devotion to the Light.
One can hardly blame them for that, though – it’s a kind of lack of free will, when you think about it.
The Titans, The Light, The Void lords, Other worldly conflicts, Azshara is still out there doing who knows what, We could explore the remnants of demonic races say like an expansion featuring something like the Nathrezim, Xalatath exists doing god knows what, We still have Alexstraza and Nozdormu to make insane villains. There is plenty more as well.
Dagger waifu is still out there, since we basically played into her hands, ultimately allowing her to be released from the dagger. No doubt she’ll be back sometime.
Obviously Void Lords and remnants of the Burning Legion still exist but we still have threats on Azeroth too. Even ignoring things like the Scourge, we have hints from decoded messages via Blingtrons. They are fighting this unending war deep below ground, against some ancient evil. Why? Who? We know nothing, so that could definitely come to fruition at some point.
On a lesser scale, we can’t ignore the Botani that came to Azeroth during the Mag’har Orc questline. Imagine the chaos they could cause if they made their way to Ungoro or hell, places like Hyjal that are rich in both plant life and energy. We also have zealot Yrel, assuming our timelines ever get wonky again(or she finds a way to ours).
And…cliche as it may be…we still don’t know whats on the other side of Azeroth. And contrary to what some may believe, Azeroth is not flat(looking at Azeroth while on Argus proves that).
So yea, lots of possibilities.
Void Lords or Light followers seem to be what most people think will come next. I think you guys are right though a part of me wants something different besides the world facing total destruction and us being the “champion” again
You know, she still clearly has plans in motion… we know she planned on betraying N’zoth, and when she left, she did comment on heading to the throne of power…
Well, not really. Although, thanks to Legion - it was pleasing to see that even the naaru have personal agendas that really question their intent when left to their own devises away from other naaru.
Yrel and rogue group of zealot naaru and crusaders can easily be expanded upon into a great story, plenty of fiction and RL historic events to build off of making new interesting heroes and villains.
As well Magatha Grimtotem still walking about; and she most likely stole back her WMD black rock of super death, and is insanely charismatic for a simple background antagonist.
I’m not sure it’s a lack of free will, as much as it’s just who they are. I mean, the are Light. So it’s all there is to them.
Incidentally the Light’s adverse reaction to Undead is explained in Revendreth where the Undead in Ember Ward are withering as Crystals of Light grow out of them. The Light is eating the Death Magic inside them!
Light eats Death and according to Exile’s Reach: Death eats Light! The two Cosmic Forces see each other as Food unlike the interaction between Light and Void or Light and Fel where the two opposing forces see each other as Abominations
That’s kind of what I mean. Their existence is defined by the Light. They cannot envision a life without it – that’s what makes them blind.
Confirmed or is this just more spectulative crap?
