What they are trying to do with Ecological Succession is a good thing

I feel like they better hit the marks on progression zone effects like back in Firelands with your base you built up and chose token upgrades for…and maybe because, at the time, it was a new concept for the game.

Like, to me, it would’ve been better if every week had actual downsides and things happening with consequences. Like oh no there is a mysterious disease killing off the foxes and you spend that week thwarting it OR you fox population decimated and that had shakeups in the other parts of the ecosystem.

Like I did the quests and it runs itself. I just pick the quickest chores to get my bag and then I’m done with it for the week. I had no real say in how it developed or how it goes.
