8/10 Needs more waffles.
I’m sorry OP but there is no way we needed another thread about how horrible BfA is and how blind Blizzard was to release it. You seem heartfelt and I so appreciate your word choice with the censoring but truly, what’s left to discuss? We have a patch coming out in less than 2 weeks. Surely that will help. And if it doesn’t, we will have plenty of these threads.
The choices Blizzard made are not retractable. Its time to move forward. Lots of players here on the forums are enjoying the game right now. Their friends list has not been decimated. Their guilds are not empty. And obviously there are lots that are experiencing the opposite.
What are the positives about the game you can share? If there aren’t any, you are wasting your money and energy playing until there is something.
If they reverted the changes to the experience gain at the start of this expansion then it wouldn’t be such a chore to level new toons. Theres always been a brick wall at the end game once you got your hands dirty in raiding but when you screw with our ability to pump out reskined toons…
You can find a better use for your time.
Actually that would be 3+ months
Edit: And actually it is more like 2+ months because that is when Uldir first opened up and the serious gearing began.
In the game, I never have to be exposed to you, so there is that…
Well I am glad I took the high road since evidently you cannot.
The one part of that article? was that they didn’t know and released it… they Knew during Beta feedback, then they definitely KNEW during ptr, and they kept ignoring us.
Theyve dug a hole, now theyve got to lay down in it or fill it with goodness… Im thinking itd be former rather than the latter.
Prepatch was when this junk came out. July 17th.
August, Sept, Oct, Nov.
4.5 months.
If you wanted to take some figurative high road, you’d have avoided this thread all together since clearly you don’t approve of it and look down your nose at me for making it.

Do you understand what time frame was being discussed or do you just want to prove me wrong?
Here is the conversation:
So from the start of the first raid when characters began to seriously gear up to now is 2.5 months That was the conversation. Not how long since 8.0 started.
Masking is frowned upon.
Whoa totally uncalled for dude, she wasn’t even being nasty.I get the bitter at WoW camp have an issue with people who disagree with them and see positives in the game but that was still uncalled for.
Actually, it stretches back further than that, to Beta, when the feedback from everyone, including raiders, was that the new systems were terrible.
And, frankly, if the game is only fun to play for raiders… WoW is dead.
I don’t care how much raiders enjoy their play. I don’t raid, and the game should still be fun for everyone.
Here is something about the forums that OPs seem to forget. You created a thread. You don’t get to say who posts in it; even if they disagree with you.
I remarked on your heartfelt sincerity and even that I appreciated your censorship of the article and then I did exactly the same thing you did. I expressed my feelings. There is no way you can justly claim that your “right” to post how you feel somehow is greater than mine.
The difference is you are looking backwards to something that cannot have a do-over. You are not even expressing your original disappointment. I am asking you anyone else to look ahead because it has not happened yet. It isn’t written in stone.
I refuse to allow you to paint me as some kind of negative nelly when you lash out with a knee-jerked response to the question, “what can you say that’s positive?” turning it into a personal insult.
In the context of my OP, the ‘masking’ is 100% appropriate and not in any form or fashion on the wrong side of the ToS.
Critical thinking skills are really nice.
May I ask what halo polish you use? That thing really shines dude.
So here comes the tyrant of people claiming Blizzard doesn’t care, blah blah blah.
Look, just because these issues weren’t fixed by release day, doesn’t mean that they weren’t looked over and sorted properly. They’ve said and explained it themselves
Anyone who has ever programmed anything (which I have) would know that fixing one bug potentially creates 100 more that make the entire rig non-functional.
Now I will agree that they should’ve pushed the release date back a month to address many of these issues, but to say Blizzard doesn’t care because you disagree with their direction is hardly a fair statement.
Anyone who’s ever programmed also knows that scrapping an entire functional system for a new one that gets nothing right is a bad idea. That you beg your bosses not to roll the new stuff out until it’s finished. And then when they do anyway and customers complain your company takes massive hits until you fix it, which 99% of the time means repurposing the old code that actually worked.
They could cut the BS that is Azerite and class pruning and give us back Legion classes any time they want.
Oh, you are one of those posters. If someone replies with something you disagree with, you pull out the insults.
She had a valid point, though. She was quoting a piece that had forum inappropriate language. It was correct to censor it. She was not attempting to mask her own profanity.
It’s strange, Legion had many wonderful game systems (like combat Followers) and BFA just threw them all in the trash. And “Did you like your artifact weapons? Well, they were a lot of work, so here’s a weak generic version of that system.” You can’t even see or click the necklace…
