What the hell is going on with MM hunter?

There so many things don’t make sense and aren’t explained.

What the hell is a “Spotting Eagle?” What the hell is “Spotter’s Mark?”

Why is nothing explained?

For example “On Target” Talent grants “Consuming Spotter’s Mark grants 4% increased haste for 10 seconds, stacking up to 4 times.”

Nowhere in my spells or talents is anything called spotters mark, or spotting eagle.

Basic Huntertalent: https://www.wowhead.com/spell=1219616/eyes-in-the-sky

there you go…

Gain the aid of a Spotting Eagle.

Damaging an enemy with an ability empowered by Precise Shots has a 30% chance to cause your Spotting Eagle to rapidly descend from the skies and mark your primary target.

Spotter’s Mark
[Your next Aimed Shot deals 20% increased damage to this target.]

Blizzard basically inserted a passive pet into MM via the eagle…that we can’t bloody name.

So one day, your hunter is walking around, doing hunter things. When suddenly a methed up eagle lands on your shoulder and says “Look at me, look at me. I’m your pet now”.

The End.

Stop calling it a pet. It’s not. Its a special effect. You don’t get to name your Golem if you are a shammy, or the spectral wolves. You don’t get to name the individual imps that turn up when you are a Demo Warlock either.

Blizzards biggest mistake was to use the word “Pet”.
