I hope they give affliction some love. My favorite spec

I want to main destro, but it seems like affliction is just a little bit better in all honestly so i might just main it instead
Demo is way less of a turret than Destro. Only time you have to turret as Demo is during a Tyrant setup (which can be a pain but pays off huge if you can get it.)
Edit: because of demonic core procs, and insta-cast Dreadstalkers.

Man demo is looking really attractive even if it doesn’t have the numbers of affliction.
Demo is a lot of fun while aff and destro currently aren’t. If it ends up being the literal lowest dps spec in the game, so be it. I’ve been there before on other mains and it really wasn’t so bad. You even get to console yourself with super easy orange parses since almost all of the good players choose the meta spec and you don’t have to compete with them on warcraftlogs.

I’m probably gonna go affliction raid and destro in m+ until high keys. Destro is a pure turret spec, plays pretty slow imo outside of infernal. Having all your power tied to infernal outside of two target cleave is meh. Affliction at least has a high skill cap and hyper scaling. Plus who knows maybe all specs will get buffed
We shall see. I’m expecting buffs across the board because people are MAD lol
This time I started destro, went demo, then aff. I’d prefer Demo but Aff has been better. Getting bored of Aff I’ll try Demo and Destro again.
At one time or other, each spec has been best at one time or another and now with Soul Shape I have to retry everything.
I have no Legendaries yet, but will they actually help in Pvp when every class gets Legendaries too?
Will Soul Shape actually work in Pvp? I want Kiljaden’s cunning back.
I hope they buff demo.

yes soulshape works and is great for creating distance after you coil/howl.

I’m maining a frost dk and keeping my warlock as my alt until i see their 1st major patch.
Demo for torghast because either like the extra tyrant and the healt cost unlimited hand of guldans.
Destro for mythic
For raiding I think affliction but im hoping demo can sim better with necrolords. For some demon bolt damage.
Aff prob but i’m casual. Dunno if it’s different in m+ but while leveling(i’m 54), i’m pretty much always top dps. Sow the seeds + 4stack agony talent + constant drain soul shards makes even short lives packs fairly bursty.
If it just doesn’t feel good at 60, i’ll go back to demo; i enjoy the spec, i just enjoy the new aff more right now.
Destro was my love in TBC but I haven’t really felt the spec for several expansions now.
Affliction/Destruction based on the Mythic/raid boss. Demonology is a dead spec. Affliction is so much fun. As soon as I get enough gear I’m gonna just play affliction

All 3 specs have there merits, im fond of Affy for everything but dungeons. Destro is just better right now.

Demo is a ton of fun but I also want to be completive. I dont really like aff so i am thinking destro is a good middle ground spec for locks right now.
Absolutely, in dungeons I have had most success with fo/re/cata/roc/cdf…it has great burst aoe via cdf, and for big boi pulls you have infernal. Bosses are so so, but thats ok, the whole spec is well rounded going into first tier. Destro has a few bosses that its gonna own on for sure. Looking forward to playing all 3!!
