It’s actually pretty easy to accrue ~100k these days. I’ve made thousands just vendoring drops from transmog runs in the Legion raids for example.

I get your point. I still think making a fuss over pixels at the end of the day is kind of silly.
Discussing over it is fine, but over complicating a subject matter that in essence is simple to begin with as you said I ‘‘oversimplified’’ it is just not going to go anywhere.
Yes but I tend to look at wanting said product I consume at that time, to at least try to improve if even a bit and for years I kind of held that in… I don’t anymore… so if people dislike what I have to say then c’est la vie.
It never always has to be one or the other, or if we simply outgrew a game. I think wanting stuff to be better or that you want to see improved is healthy and should be something every Company wants to hear and not have their userbase suppress.
(More referring to other people who I see sometimes write ‘‘or they could do nothing instead and you can have nothing’’ which is silly)

No. Some things should remain special, not just easily obtained stuff the game tosses at you.
You want a different colour Quiraji mount, that’s fine, I’d be happy to see that. But those items earned in the past that give the game a sense of individuality and uniqueness, should stay that way - or there is nothing special anymore.
