i’ll roll a toon on the PvE realm but just to do the ironman leveling challenge.

Judging from the Discord servers, Barman Shanker is the lower population U.S. East Coast PvP server. It currently has 1162 people on the server Discord. Jom Gabbar has 2297 people. The faction balance on Barman Shanker is roughly 55% Alliance to 45% Horde. The faction balance on Jom Gabbar is roughly 60% Alliance and 40% Horde.

I don’t know if this information changes your mind about where your guild ends up rolling, but I hope it helps.

Leaning heavily towards a PVE realm, just dont know whether NA or OCE.
Im on OCE and my concerns are:

  1. Number of players that will play SoM in OCE
  2. BG battlegroup connectivity. BGs are pretty spars already in tbcc on OCE battlegroup and its not connected to NA, so if thats the case with SoM i might got NA.

The part that sucks is that the day night cycle can be meh when ur in OCE playing on NA realm.

In Aus so have a choice of two servers, which is great. I’ll try PvP and then switch to PvE when I get bored of it.

I hope they keep it two server for Aus and just layer if by some miracle we have big login queues.

All top streamers are planning to switch Nightfall at the last moment. Jom Gabbar is a honey pot.

My friends are rolling on Barman Shanker horde so I plan to go there.

I also reserved a name on Jom Gabbar (on another account) in case that doesn’t work out for whatever reason.

You should convince your friends to go to Jom Gabbar. Judging from both a Reddit poll I recently found and the Discord populations, Jom Gabbar has a significantly bigger population than Barman Shanker.

There have been complaints that Blizzard has too many servers for the Seasonal, so any chance we get to consolidate onto one server ought to be taken.
