What Savage race would be more inclined to join the Alliance over the Horde?

Apparently they can here. It’s why Void Elves are Alliance.

very true, void elves always must follow what blood elves say.

They’re outnumbered a great deal. Only a handful of Void Elves exist and no one is born a Void Elf. They also just survived being devoured by the Void which killed most of the researchers.

It isn’t easy becoming a Void Elf either.

I would say image over attitude. Some could possibly say the draenei are fairly “savage” looking.

The Broken for sure. I think Nobundo counts as Broken Alliance.

On that note I wouldn’t mind if the broken were playable.

If the Broken or Manari were Playable Alliance only options - I would be OK with that. The Alliance needs some interesting tints.

Personally I would go with broken over man’ari.

I feel that Blizzard would just make them Horde since Alliance has 2 Draenei while Horde has 0.

the last thing the game needs is more alliance content to take up the horde’s shindig and ensure the horde gets even less focus than they currently do.

Dev 1:“we need to have barbarians show up for this fight!”
Dev 2: “bring in the alliance vrykul race”

The dwarves

I really hope the Horde does not end up getting either Manari or the broken. I’m not a big fan of giving the other faction races that are already part of the other faction.

As others have said I’d put broken draenei and furbolgs as prime candidate races for Alliance that are outside the shining civilization aesthetic. Both of those are already part of the Alliance too in lore.

Another great race would be the Ankoan, they are more vicious and focus on fighting/honor compared to their pandaria Jinyu relatives. And the Alliance helped them out back in bfa.

Honestly, Qullboar have a strong reason to join the Alliance. Not because they have anything in common with the Alliance, but just because of what the Horde has done to them.

Quillboar for Alliance and Gnoll for Horde. I would love an expansion that takes us back to the Vanilla zones and we go back to a classic-like atmosphere, dealing with local threats instead of grand, world ending calamities.

Eh. I’d be okay with SW getting Vyrkul if the Forsaken get Vargul. Seems a pretty equitable AR deal.

Does not matter, any race other than some form of Human or Elf you will be told should be a Horde race.

The Horde can have the Manari(I don’t particular care and wouldn’t mind killing them) but not the broken.

Kinda wish the Sin’Dorei were a little more invested in sorting out these expat Shoggoth cultists. They’ve tentacles growing out of the back of their heads. Grab some phoenix fire and;

The main options for a more “savage” race would be Furbolg. Other notable options, though not as savage, would be Broken or Jinyu/Ankoan, all three are already in the Alliance.

While I think Sethrak being playable for the Alliance would be cool, I don’t think it makes much sense within the story. They are friends and even allies of the two other inhabitants of Zandalar. They share land with the Vulpera and are friendly with the Zandalari Trolls- we even see some in Zuldazar, even with one being in the ranks of their priests. Politically it’d be odd for them to join the traditional enemy of the Horde when they are surrounded and isolated.

If a war were to start up again they’d be screwed. There can ALWAYS be story to make them work for the Alliance, but to me it doesn’t seem to make much sense.

I just had a funny idea.

Ogres.

Especially if they could somehow get the AU sneering imperialist ogres who still had kingdoms and castles and mages that weren’t a result of forced mutation. They would hate the Iron Horde for strong-arming them into servitude and that resentment would extend to the Mag’har remnants, and by further extension, the MU Horde. In turn, they would have a nominal amount of respect for the Alliance races for managing to build and maintain somewhat noteworthy kingdoms. Especially in spite of their, how you say… muscular deficiencies.

Also, it’s funny to think of this as the Alliance taking “revenge” against the Horde for “stealing” their elves.

That, while a crazy intriguing AU idea, seems implausible. We already have AU ogres in the Horde already.
