Aside from the below-30 bracket thing, it doesn’t do anything other than offer cosmetic rewards at certain breakpoints. You can get a bunch of unicorn horse mounts, titles and a couple pets as your honor level increases.

like it’s been said already, all realms are pooled together inside bgs, but if you want a more populated alliance realm with more pvp communities you can check out stormrage (mainly pve, largest alliance server), sargeras (pvp), moonguard (rp with a lot of pvp players on it), tichondrius (more heavy horde but has alliance too)

and yeah you’re showing as honor level 5 so if the sub honor level 30 thing is real then you have a bit more to go until you’re released into the regular brackets

You could also create some alts, lower levels.
While rotating them for daily Honor bonus, build up the Honor level.
The lower levels seem to be more balanced for faction win/rates, you can always make a few just to test the waters through different brackets.
It looks at the right time slots, 80% win rate for Alliance is a thing at end game.

don’t think I want to start horde from 0, no horde toons, even 30% win rate I will be happy, right now the random bg is 0%, won some epic ones only, and a rated one
btw some premade require “link xp” which xp to link?

If you join a premade team or even through Community you will be placed with the masses above 30. Regardless of your HL.
Creating a playable Alt(s) just to beef up the Honor Level will be quick, like a few hours.
Then it is home free imo.
Link XP is rated PVP experience. I see those for world PVP quests too lol.

How can alt beef up honor level quick? take less honor to up each level? I do have lower level alliance toons

Since Christmas break this has not been true in my experience. Since the holiday breaks started I’ve been losing a huge amount of BGs as Alliance at max level. This was the same experience as SL launch. At first, Alliance dominated for the first few weeks. Then all the good Alliance players/Horde mercs stopped BGs when the arena season opened up, and from then on it was difficult to win anything as Alliance, as especially bad during the Christmas break.

This isn’t as bad in leveling BGs for some reason, which are at the very least 50/50, usually with a slight Alliance bias.

yes the same thing happened for me, below 70 that’s different bracket, it seems without that honor level 30 bias, so it’s pretty even with alliance win a bit more, but reached 70 it’s totally screwed for alliance, at least for me (with low honor according to ppl here)
