I’d love to play some race based on the creatures the anubisath statues are made from. A shame that I believe they were, ultimately, retconned as some sort of different version of a Destroyer (centaur-esque creature), and most likely related to the Tol’vir.

We can certainly count on the Devs to satisfy their suggestion, A breed made of horse men, who riding human horses, to be another joke performed by the alliance, since the Alliance is the faction of comic relief, after kultirans with protruding navels and mutilated gnomes made redone with garbage were added to the team led by the 3 stooges.

Murloc.

It’s always been murlocs…

Vrykul for the Horde

Well that’s what I want, so :woman_shrugging: Not going to change my opinion because you think it’s bland. In my opinion, they’re interesting and fun. Playable vampires we’ve seen since Wrath would be fun to many people. As would snakemen, another then people have been wanting since they’ve been seen.

Says the one wanting blood elves with blue eyes, give me a break.

Mok’nathal and like three gnomes in a coat.

im OK on races to be honest. I would much rather a deeper level of customization. as a D&D based game player before discovering WoW, I used to make an elf, then I could choose the background of said elf which would affect his starting stats and abilities. after that I could choose a sub race, such as drow, or forest elf, which would further change stats and abilities as well as GREATLY change the appearance of the character.
This is what I was hoping to get out of WoW. I want to to be able to tell an Aerie dwarf from an Ironforge dwarf. I want to see the same races, but with extremely different appearances and abilities based on customization choice.
When priests has a unique spell based on race that was one of my favorite things, even though my priest is a ****ty human and the dwarves fear ward was considered the best. at least it was a step in the right direction in regards to being unique and having your choice MEAN something.
currently you can strip all the armor off of 25 night elf males, stand them in a line and it looks like a clone army with different colored hair. I dont like this, its lazy.

Vulpera is the only real “new” race we’ve had, in a really long time.

If you look at how they pick the “easiest” things to add now, it is pretty apparent you’ll never see a Naga or even a Sethrak/whatever. Naga has the “no legs” problem, while Sethrak has that weird head, which can’t fit hats/helms.

Everything they add is a biped race, which is not too tall or overly different. It is why we got “Fat sort of tall people”, instead of Vyrkul.

Mechagnomes have slots that can’t take armor. Kinda hard to put on leggards over mechanical legs… So just add a permanent hide armor piece feature. Easy.

I for one, like to see my character’s face. If Sethrak got permanent hide helm, no biggie. :woman_shrugging: Plus, they’re scaled. That in itself serves as armor and the animal they’re based on is very resilient. You’d be surprised how much damage a snake can take and still live a normal life.

And well, if people INSIST helms are gonna be needed, it has already been proven that Sethrak could wear helms. Look at Worgen. The neck and head position is somewhat similar between Worgen and Sethrak. Worgen wear helms. Although most clip terribly.

Sethrak could also get a few sets of racial/heritage helms. Which would be headdresses.

Mogu, they are anicent allies of the zandalari and biologically superior to all other races, they are big brutes with each being born with great magical affinity.

There potential is only hindered by their arrogance.

And horde is working with them next patch.

Devs are doing this with junkgnomes, with their arms and legs.
Doesn’t seem like such a hard act to do for sethraks. :snake:

Excuse you. The point was that Sanlayn are based off of Blood Elves already and Sethrak are an actual new thing. I have supported the addition of sanlayn for quite awhile so check your attitude at the door and stpp attacking people.

Now I know why the Sanlayn threads were getting their share of trolls as well.

Sethrak, like Mogu, are hostile to everyone. How can they be included into the Alliance?

Broken draenei/ kurenai for Alliance. That should have happened over LFD.

For Horde, I would build on the children of Azeroth aspect with quilboar. Although adding them would take some good writing to pull off.

I want playable Talbuk

Ramkahen.
