Having a brain isn’t cheating. Using addons allowed under terms of use, also not cheating.

Because it’s putting information that’s already in the game in to a place that its easier to read.

Yes, information Blizzard already put in the game, and information Blizzard, who makes the rules, allowed to be accessible by addons.
Therefore it is by definition not cheating.

Are you saying patches would take 3 years if Blizz had to regularly update the UI too?
I doubt that’d be the case, and it shouldn’t be, provided the designers and developers are worth their salt. Though that is definitely a valid question, all things considered.

Also it’s completely different departments. People here mostly don’t understand how game design and creation is handled.
