In his defense I don’t think that’s his delusion. That’s an upper level decision to try and keep subs. Aggrend seems pretty dedicated on a true classic+ experience so I’m happy they at least confirmed something was in the works.

If MoP stays our only transfer choice, my server will be named Cancel Sub’s.

You guys talk as if 7 million players isn’t an insanely enormous playerbase for one single version of WoW. That’s approx 20x the current player count of all the versions of Classic combined.
You guys are overlooking all of the successes from Cata and MoP. Most of the famous classic twitch streamers you guys watch today got their start doing competitive PvP in Cata and MoP - Soda for example.
LMAO… Soda? you mean the dude that will jump ship after a month? I mean, he has to follow the masses or his stream dies. He is a variety streamer at best. WoW is not his main focus.
How good has that been for Cata so far? What big streamer streams Cata competitively with a large following?
Xaryu had no interest in playing Mop till he started to play the beta and realized how OP mages are. Now he is having fun again… He will jump ship after a month as well. But, no please follow streamers. None of them really played SOD and it remain extremely popular despite them.

You’re overlooking the popularity of a NEW game vs a re-release and the trends that happened when it was new.
It wasn’t just gone for most of an expansion. The devs wanted to axe it all together forever, until the players voted with their wallets. They lost half of their subs (or more), so they came to a bitter compromise.
Guy, you’re in a Classic forum. You aren’t going to find people here mad that flying was almost axes forever.
You can’t really say SoD was very popular and at the same time say MoP wasn’t. The number of active players isn’t even comparable.
I’m a Classic+ enjoyer and loved SoD. Sad to see it end but I’m happy to jump on the MoP train.
Having a more decent PvP balance will be a breath of fresh air and not gonna lie but SoD has been lacking in terms of content for a few phases now.
Just hoping they’ll do something with the PvP servers cause atm it’s monofaction…
