I create simple macros for things like using trinkets/potions with major cooldowns, but the one I rely on for ALL group content is a focus/target macro:
/target focustarget
This is always bound to my F key. Then, whenever I join a dungeon/raid, I right-click the tank and select “Set Focus.”
To target mobs, I hit F and my target becomes whatever the tank is targeting.
I don’t play around with macros much but I got a little annoyed with clicking stealth as rogue so I made the following macro: #showtooltip
/cast [nocombat] Stealth
/cast [combat] Vanish
Stealing this one. It always irked me that favorite mounts aren’t per character, I didn’t even know you could set something like this up.
i built into mostly mountain thane fury and i use the double bladestorm talent so i have cc movement imp break(obv not stuns and stuff), most of my burst is in the normal rotation cause my bladestorms do 30% less dmg, also sometimes in pulls a mob will root you and youll be in a bad spot so i use it there too but mostly in pvp, bladestorm is almost never a dps tool for me unless i go slayer but honestly i love mountain thane, also if you are stuck in bladestorm as a mage is 20yrds from you then youll just eat all their hits so i cancel it if i wanna charge aswell. its mostly situational on when to cancel it but regardless its great to have no matter if ur specced into bladestorm for dmg or not cause it limits the skills you can use like heals and etc. i get what ur saying tho, if ur prone to double clicking or fat finger than ya it might not be good to have a cancelaura bind into a button
its also really nice when you are fighting another warrior, its a reaction check but if you are 20yd most melee players open with a range stun so you can wait for it to come and then bladestorm to negate it then cancel bladestorm, stormbolt em, see if they trinket it then disarm em if they did. it can come really clutch at times, or if im in wpvp in a group and i get dk pulled, i bladestorm to safety and then cancel it so i can heal myself or pot when im in safety/LoS(again tho you are completely right if ur prone to hitting keys twice by accident)
I enjoy macroing my stealth to my kick button. When I am in combat it works great for kicks and when I am out of combat and there is nothing to kick I go invis.
