this morning I went on my fairly 111 with like close to normal antorus level to archimonde on mythic…
I had to do mechanics and I still died to knockouts or pushout skills.
lvl 111 I guess I need to be 120 to farm lvl 100 content…
on shadowlands you will need to be 60 to farm legion content.
Bandage gun got nerfed. The only way to do her now on a non-healer is with the HOA double blast thingy since it damages enemies or heals friendly depending on what it’s shot at. One shot is sufficient.

Mythic Archimonde has a nasty knockback mechanic that can happen in the twisting nether part of the fight. I used to have to use Iceblock on my mage at 120 to keep on the platform prior to patch 8.3, but the last time I tried it I was able to blast him down before that mechanic went off. Any boss that has similar knockback mechanics can have issues for higher level players in the right circumstances; for example Arthas started throwing people off of Icecrown again at the beginning of BfA because the level squish tuning made him comparatively stronger than he had been, and he was dying slowly enough to freshly level-capped characters that some of his mechanics were triggered. I haven’t heard of the level squish causing any similar issues in beta this time around, so hopefully things will be a breeze at new level 60.
it’s weird because on my 120’s I don’t have any issues but at 110-111 you will struggle the damage you do isnt millions it’s only 100-300k at 111.
Therefore the scale is wrong or you’re only allowed to solo certain raids when you’re max level of any current expansion.
I had the same thing when I was farming VoA some weeks ago until I got bored of it… as level 100 my damage to bosses was incredible low despite me being 20 levels higher than the wotlk content.
So this squish is happening at pre-patch and not launch?
