I’ve been Horde and Alliance pretty equally over the years - there are some differences between the two factions but in general not that much, as far as I’m concerned - other players with different priorities may disagree.
What has me on the Alliance side right now are Void Elves. I just love Void Elves and everything about them.
Would you say that since they’ve been introduced, you’ve been avoiding playing other races?

Not really fond of the Horde Druid races. Tried to like them. But it doesn’t happen.

1 - horde areas are ugly
2 - horde races (except for BE) are ugly & stupid looking.
3 - I’ve always played Alliance, so Horde are always the
enemy
4 - I hate Sylvanas. Always have, always will.

No not at all - my LF draenei and night elves get equal attention. But Void Elves are the race I always wanted to play, long before they even existed in the game.

I tried playing horde. I even have a comparable alt on the horde side. I just am not into the whole chest thumping honor above all might makes right thing.

I play both sides, but I prefer the Alliance aesthetic. I like the races better, and most of the faction specific armor sets, the cities, the mounts, the zones. The Garrison even. I find both communities to be at each others throats between the friendly conversation.
So there is nothing better about the opposite to not main Alliance. Both sides have the same competency when it comes to pve or pvp content. For all the people that say horde are better at pvp, I find my win ratio is the same, and has been since Vanilla.

Well I was on the horde side for a long time as a goblin before I learned about the actual lore of the game. Then the war of thorns happened and I learned about the lore of the game and I went straight to the alliance because they are the good guys. I really do hope tyrande brings justice to every horde for the

Your problem was that you were an Alliance Death Knight. That’s doing it wrong. Actual Alliance remains the right faction.

Different interesting character options. New people to meet. Things like that. Alliance is kind of lame as a faction, and I’ve had more bad experiences with people on the Alliance side, but there are plenty of good people who I have enjoyed playing with as well.
Night elves.
Not true. I have over twenty Alliance characters and now three horde characters. It’s far more fun on the horde
I choose to be in the alliance, just as I would choose to be a member of the Avenger / X-Men / Justice League.
The Horde has races that I like as tauren, vulperas and pandaren that have good tendencies but, there ends my tolerance to the Horde.
The rest of the horde? Orcs, forsakens, blood elves, trolls and goblins have no virtue for me. Few of them have character ( like Thrall, Baine ) and even those are hated by their countrymen for not seeking death and destruction anyone who was unfortunate enough to have something that they don’t have, ostentatiously.
If it is necessary to do dishonorable things that only villains or people with a low moral character do, just to satisfy their own selfishness, the definition of fun really is horde.
In addition, suffice it to say that the history of the alliance is like that because Blizzard keeps it that way, in terms of development, in relation to new races, in relation to everything.
Not as if I wouldn’t love to have done something to the Horde, similar to what was done to Gilneas, Theramore, Teldrassil, but we must always be the faction that provides the horde with a free pass, and we can never hurt them like they do they hurt us, because the horde would feel wronged to lose to the alliance, in something.
Worgen. Also the Horde’s part of the story is evil and I dont like playing it.

Can you imagine Sylvanas sacrificing anything of herself for her people? Not a chance. The Alliance stands for something. The Horde just destroys and pillages. Although the Horde races are a lot more fun than Alliance. Granted, I only play human males so I can make 'em sexy and take their shirts off.
