The mage ZG enchants also have hit, so make that 8%.
My aims are relatively small, but even so have been out of reach. I just want the Hakkari warblade main hand to match the offhand. I can’t even count the number of times I’ve tanked Hakkar but I’ve never seen it drop once.
Stop switching guilds and you’ll gain seniority and be higher in the loot prio for gear. That’s one of the biggest ticket caster items and everyone wants it, more so for warlocks because the lack of hit on the talent tree.
If your not switching guilds because of loot then thats a different story -shrug-
RNG , I’ve seen DFT drop once. It’s also droped a week I wasn’t present. CTS has never droped yet.
On my hunter I got Nelth tear just to see how it works with arcane shot.
Wasn’t worth it so sharded it.
It sounds like your issue is loot council. I would never join a loot council guild because I don’t want the experience you described. I still don’t have the tear either, we’ve had really bad luck with it dropping and there are people sitting on max dkp waiting for it. I’m fine with that, it frees me up to get AQ loot very cheaply!
Thunderfury.
…yes yes…laugh it up. Paladin’s seem to have an innate +50% chance to proc the aoe wind-thingy.
Also, DFT and Band of Accuria.
Garr Bindings. Our guild has like 5 people waiting for it and it took almost a year for one to drop.
Whatever I’m farming at the moment.
RNGesus has not blessed me. It took me 6 months just to get 8/8 tier 1 FFS.
A freaken hakkari idol. That thing takes more effort than the upgrade I’m using it on.
The hunter crossbow from BWL.
I’ve done BWL since release every week and that bow refused to drop for my raid but dropped 5 times for my guilds second raid.
Work schedule changed about 4 months ago and I ended up having to go with the other raid and not one has dropped, but the raid I left has seen 4 now…
… Rnjesus hates me lol.
If you would have stayed with that first guild you would have gotten it. Just require patience and the mind set that it will eventually drop and if you contribute a lot to the guild and raid team you will get it.
Switching guilds all the time makes getting hard to get items very hard.
mages get tear after the warlocks all have it. you get hit in talents warlocks dont. pretty simple.
Obviously wasn’t a choice. It’s far from guaranteed to get any of these raid drops in classic, regardless of your “mind set.” People raiding with the same guild for a year are missing things from Molten Core… lol
Swift Zulian Tiger
Rejuvenating Gem
The problem is you reading all that he said and still not seeing the problem.
Flameguard Gauntlets. I’ve only seen them drop once.
Got the Eye of Sulfuras recently, was my first time seeing it ever. Trying to buy transmutes for it now, actually.
This is all kinds of stupid logic. There is no guarantee that the lock…
- Is/will be, ultimately, a better player.
- will continue even playing a lock six months into the future (obviously AQ40 wasn’t available at the time he was referring to.)
- will even be playing the game for that matter.
If you’re in a guild that you KNOW will be sticking together for the foreseeable future and you KNOW a player is 100% going to take advantage of having the gear, then fine. But it has better be a guarantee. Otherwise, something like Neltharion’s Tear is just a flat out top notch trinket for casters and other casters shouldn’t have to ‘wait their turn’ for them to get something so great.
While I don’t necessarily disagree with some of your logic, I’d argue that warriors would be understandably irked if Enh Shamans or Ret paladins rolled on Band of Acuria or DFT.
It’s just a matter of fact that some classes/specs benefit more from items than others. Now player loyalty/skill/dedication should play a part of course, but the former statement still holds.
