There are a lot of weird comments in this thread like “nobody likes mechagnomes” or “lightforged draenei are hated”

Yet I see plenty of people playing both. If people played and enjoyed the original female Worgen they will enjoy anything, nobody in this thread speaks for everyone.

I think Alliance allied races are good and if I had to choose a hated one it would be Nightborne.

Diaper Gnomes. I though of resurrecting my ally alt to grind for Mechagnomes. Then I used Orb of Deception on a Vulpera and found out why they are called diaper gnomes… NO thanks.

I don’t like Mechagnomes either but tbf a customization option making a “race” is literally the only major thing for like a crap ton of these races. Mechagnomes are at least super noticeable compared to HMT. Still, Mechagnomes are lowest on my list of interest. I haven’t even unlocked the questing area and keep having to listen to that gnome calling to cancel his meeting with Wyrmbane every time I awkwardly run past him.

What I mean is. HM at least are born that way with those HM genes and all, LF and Void Elves are empowered by some cosmic force etc… Mechagnomes lorewise are literally gnomes customizing themselves.

Mechagnomes are a waste of a race slot. Gnomes dont get a lot of play in the first place, robot gnomes that don’t work with most transmog are worse.

Vulpera. Horde should’ve gotten sethrak instead imo. I get why people don’t like mechagnomes but their heritage looks amazing.

Whenever Blizzard finally does allied race customization I feel like mechagnomes will be a lot cooler. Have armor covers legs/arms and a-symmetric mechanic parts, like one arm organic instead of both mechanical.

for me its mechagnomes, you don’t see a lot of regular gnomes don’t understand why blizzard thought alliance could use another gnome race.
